Margaret Reiland holds a Bachelors of Nutrition and a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (Chicago, IL/Racine WI). She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Illinois. She has studied animal shiatsu in the United Kingdom, as well as studying with Diana Thompson, author of Acupuncture Point Charts for Horses. My journey as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner started in 1994 when I met a monk in Taiwan who taught me about meditation, cleansing, food healing, calligraphy and Chinese health practices. For 10 years, I travelled around the world studying natural healing and classical Asian martial arts from various masters, healers and schools.
I graduated from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in British Columbia with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, modelled after the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine curriculum.
I’ve been in clinic practice for over 10 years in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. I am a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners and Acupuncturists in Ontario under the following number: 2807. I currently see patients at The Village Clinic in Westboro.
I teach weekly Qigong and Chen Style Tai Chi classes at Aylmer Qigong and Tai Chi and I hold regular at workshops, lectures, webinars and events on health and well-being.

Damian McCleod is a NY state licensed acupuncturist and has a Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). Damian’s introduction to the actual practice of acupuncture came after having undergone his second reconstructive knee surgery. At the suggestion of his fellow martial artist and graduate of PCOM, he started receiving acupuncture treatments at the college’s clinic.
