I am Dr. George Mandler, a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist. I specialize in acupuncture for chronic and complex conditions, including inflammation, pain, digestive disorders, gynecological issues, fertility challenges, and men’s health.
My work focuses on patients who haven’t found relief elsewhere. Using Saam acupuncture, Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Functional Nutrition, I design treatments that address root causes, not just symptoms. Katie is a pain specialist, having trained in pain management at Tufts University School of Medicine and receiving a Masters of Science in addition to earning her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from the New England School of Acupuncture. Katie's passion is using acupuncture and herbal medicine to treat all facets of a patient's pain condition so that patients can improve their overall quality of life. In addition to working at KenkoDo, Katie currently holds a part-time position as a research acupuncturist at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she works with a team of researchers investigating acupuncture's effect on pain modulation via functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Katie also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine, and recently designed her own research study investigating the effects of acupuncture on pre- and postoperative pain, which she is currently conducting at Tufts Medical Center in coordination with the Anesthesia and Orthopedic departments.

Kevork earned his Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA). At NESA, Kevork studied both Chinese and Japanese styles of Acupuncture, and also completed the Chinese herbal program. During his time at NESA, completed internships at the NESA school clinic in Watertown MA, and also completed externships at Dimock Community Health Center serving Boston’s urban neighborhoods with acupuncture care. He is Board Certified and licensed to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine in Rhode Island state by the Rhode Island health department. Kevork is also ( Foreign Medical Graduate ). He worked as an MD overseas for many years.
