It all started in the New York City area in 80's when Dr. McCormick was completing undergraduate coursework in biochemistry and other pre-medical studies. During his four years as a pre-med student, he worked as an assistant and apprentice to acupuncture and naturopathic doctors, graduating from various programs in Eastern and Western styles of manual therapies including naprapathy. After completing his undergraduate degree in public health, he went on to graduate from both a masters and doctoral program at one of the country's top natural medicine colleges in Portland, Oregon. As a doctoral fellow he was an acupuncturist intern at Oregon Health Sciences University Pain Center. He was also an intern at a World Health Organization (WHO) integrative medicine hospital in Nanjing, China. Since then, he's traveled the globe learning new techniques to help others with natural options for their healthcare. Dr. McCormick has completed apprenticeships and post-graduate clinical work with naturopathic physicians, naprapaths, medical doctors, osteopaths, Oriental and Ayrvedic medicine doctors along with various other world renowned practitioners in the natural medicine field. He is motivated by a desire to provide complementary care including alternatives to surgery and drugs. Dr. McCormick's practice provides several natural therapy options that address a wide range of health and wellness concerns. Alisa is a mother of two girls, a Licensed Acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Medicine as well as an IBCLC (Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant) with over 15 years of experience supporting families. She owns PUSH San Diego an integrative health clinic that specializes in infertility, prenatal, and postpartum care offering alternative options such as acupuncture, cupping, lactation support, pelvic steaming and much more. She empowers expectant couples by educating and equipping them with natural and integrative health care options.

I practice in the Virginia MN and surrounding area. I have a Master degree of Oriental Medicine. I am also an herbalist and believe that 'food is our medicine'.

Brent Keime, LAc, MSTOM has been licensed as an acupuncturist in the state of California since 2006 and currently practices in San Diego. Brent is certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.) by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Brent earned a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. While still in school, Brent interned at the UCSD downtown free clinic serving San Diego’s homeless population, and he spent two years assisting Alex Tiberi, one of the country’s top pediatric acupuncturists. Brent also interned at Rady Children’s Hospital in their chronic pain clinic as well as with the hematology/oncology program.
