Damian McCleod is a NY state licensed acupuncturist and has a Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). Damian’s introduction to the actual practice of acupuncture came after having undergone his second reconstructive knee surgery. At the suggestion of his fellow martial artist and graduate of PCOM, he started receiving acupuncture treatments at the college’s clinic. After having first hand proof of the power of acupuncture, he dedicated himself to the pursuit of Chinese Medicine.
A major influence in his studies came from the martial arts, which he has been a practitioner of since 1993. Damian currently works with martial artist and other athletes in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, with a focus knee pain.
Part of Damian’s philosophy on medicine stems from his undergraduate education; he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. His view is, understanding the complex is a matter of having a firm grasp of the fundamentals. Whether you are creating a detailed painting or addressing a patient’s illness, seek out the underlying nature of what it is you’re observing – then you will know how to proceed.

About:
After completing her bachelor's degree in 1996, Diane began quietly pursuing an interest in alternative and complementary medicine. Self study led to weekend workshops and intensive retreats on topics ranging from aromatherapy to reflexology. After suffering from a car accident in 2002, Diane turned to acupuncture for relief.
It worked and a seed was planted.
In 2005, Diane left her full time job in advertising to attend graduate school in acupuncture and oriental medicine. Since then, she has practiced in integrative care facilities, nursing homes, and traditional acupuncture clinics. Currently, Diane maintains her own private practice in Glen Allen, VA. Combining Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory with a gentle needling technique, Diane welcomes new patients who may feel their case
is difficult or that they lack options to improve their health and well-being.
In addition to traditional body acupuncture, Diane incorporates scalp acupuncture, auricular (ear) acupuncture, electrical stimulation, microcurrent facial rejuvenation, reflexology, cupping, and gua sha; as well as, Chinese bodywork and herbal therapy to further enhance treatment success.

About:
I am an accomplished alternative healthcare professional, with over 22 years of hands on experience in the bodywork field. I am passionate about acupuncture because of what it has done for me personally, and the positive results that I have witnessed for so many of my patients. It is important to me as your practitioner, to provide a treatment plan that is unique to you, and supports your health goals. I usually ask that you commit to 3 treatments. Generally, results are experienced by then. At that time we will re-evaluate and determine which course of action is best.
I have been a licensed acupuncturist since 2003. My training includes TCM, Japanese and Acupuncture Physical Medicine. APM is a unique needle technique taught at Tri-State College. This technique uses a motion that releases muscle constriction and trigger points, thereby promoting the free flow of Qi. My experience includes treating a variety of medical conditions including but not limited to anxiety, depression, muscular conditions, sciatica, neck and back pain, tendonitis, asthma, headaches, neuropathy, sleep disorders, skin conditions and fertility. Primarily I use needles, but may also use cupping, guasha, and massage. I have experience with adults as well as children. I also take no-fault insurance and participate in some private insurances.

Dr. Jon Kukor is the founder and sole practitioner at Orlando Alternative Health. He holds a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) from Five Branches University and is a Board-Certified Acupuncture Physician — one of the few practitioners in the Orlando area with both credentials.
He is also a Myopain Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT), the highest level of dry needling certification in the world. He trained directly under Dr. Jan Dommerholt, the clinician who introduced dry needling to the United States, and currently serves as an assistant instructor at Myopain Seminars.
What that means for you: You’re not getting a generalist. You’re getting a specialist whose clinical training is on par with what pro athletes in the NFL, MLB, UFC, and PGA receive.
