As a classically trained acupuncturist Karen crafts individual treatment plans to help each patient achieve his or her own health goals. Using acupuncture and other Chinese Medicine modalities, Karen collaborates with patients to re-establish their body’s natural ability to thrive.
Karen’s background is in social work. She spent the past 20 years working in sexual assault response and prevention at local, state and national levels. Seeking a more holistic approach to facilitating health and well-being Karen was drawn to study acupuncture. Karen is also an avid runner and cyclist and has found acupuncture to be an important tool for staying healthy, recovering quickly and resolving strains, sprains and other injuries.

Abby earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College, Boulder, CO in 2013. She also studied at Heilongjiang hospital in China, where she learned valuable techniques on treating modern illnesses. She is passionate about helping others feel alive, radiant, healthy and balanced while they make their powerful mark on the earth. As a member of a family of acupuncturists and herbalists, I am proud to be a fourth-generation practitioner. My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kyung-Hee University in Korea. I have also taught yoga, qi-gong, healing, and meditation in both Korea and the USA.
