As an acupuncturist and hypnotherapist, my goal is to act as a catalyst for positive change in every patient. I specialize in a unique treatment that I refer to as "hypnoacupuncture," which is a combination of acupuncture and hypnotherapy. Combining the power of hypnosis with acupuncture has proven to create treatments that are effective on all levels: physical, mental, and emotional. Many patients describe these sessions as life-altering, and find them to be more deeply relaxing than anything they have ever experienced before. I treat many patients for weight-loss and smoking cessation, but I have found that these combination sessions of hypnosis and acupuncture can benefit endless issues, including depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Sabrina is a Registered Acupuncturist with a passion for providing her clients with deeply relaxing treatments. While acupuncture and relaxation might seem an odd pairing, what could be more relaxing than having that nervous stomach or muscle knot unwind? Suffering nauseating migraines frequently as a child, Sabrina is particularly excited about how well and how fast acupuncture treats most headaches.

As a graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s Spa Practitioner Program, Sabrina has 9 years experience nurturing people with Swedish Massage, Lomi Lomi, Hot Stone and Aromatherapy.

Always curious about how things work and why, Sabrina earned a Diploma of Acupuncture from Pacific Rim College and a BSc. in Biology from the University of Victoria. She interviews each client, looking at current challenges, from a pattern based Traditional Chinese Medicine point of view and a biomedical cause-and-effect perspective.

Sabrina loves dance and movement therapies from Foxtrot and Pilates to Poi Spinning and Tai Chi lessons. When not dancing Sabrina is often reading, playing board games or trying out new massages. Clients are offered useful advice for reducing pain and stress but not pressured to adopt habits that don't fit their lives. She welcomes any questions you have about introducing Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies into your life or to someone you love.

I am passionate about sharing the unique benefits of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with my clients. My goal is to promote a happy and balanced lifestyle, free of pain for all those I treat. I have always been inspired by my Chinese heritage but my journey into TCM truly began after a serious motor vehicle accident left me with serious injuries that only began to heal after a course of acupuncture treatments. After making a full recovery, I began formal studies at Pacific Rim College, graduating with my Diploma of Acupuncture and subsequently obtaining my acupuncture license with the Canadian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia.

My areas of special interest include: neurological conditions, geriatric care, acute and chronic pain management, and sports medicine. I am continually pursuing higher learning in these areas and receive ongoing training to ensure the best results for my clients. I utilize acupuncture, moxabustion, cupping, TCM diet therapy, and lifestyle counselling to design treatments best suited to my client’s needs. During time away from the office, I enjoy cooking, gardening, hiking with my dog, and exploring the ocean and forests of Vancouver Island.
