Before I pursued medicine, I embarked on a much more “traditional” career path. After graduating from Columbia University in New York City with a B.S. in Engineering and Management Systems, I worked for Ernst & Young, Thomson Financial, and other Wall Street firms as a strategy consultant and pharmaceutical compliance analyst. My previous work experience has been extremely beneficial as it has helped me to understand the unique pressures and stresses that many of my patients experience.

I am a NY State Licensed Acupuncturist and a Certified Chinese herbalist. I received my Masters degree from The New York College of Health Professions in 2003 where my studies included Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, T'ai Chi Chuan and Qi gong.
Upon graduation I went on to work at Columbia University facilitating two NIH funded clinical research studies testing the efficacy of Acupuncture and Moxibustion. I recently returned to Columbia University to serve the acupuncture research community in Acupuncture for women undergoing breast cancer treatments.
My philosophical approach to treatment includes a strong emphasis on patient education. I encourage patients to actively participate in their healing process and often incorporate lifestyle changes and herbal medicine in my treatment plans. I maintain a strong commitment to the promotion of the integration of Eastern and Western medicine as a future medical model within our health care system. My specialized areas of interest and expertise include women's health and fertility, stress and pain management, and digestive disorders.

Gloria has a degree in Acupuncture from the Oxford Brookes University in England and practiced there for 7 years before moving to the U.S. in 2009. She now has 2 clinics in NC in Asheville and Hendersonville. Her passion is to bring healing to everyone regardless of their financial circumstances. Geoff was born in Manchester and attended the Altrincham Grammar School. He went on to study Pharmacology at the University of Leeds. An interest in yoga, meditation and taiji lead him to learn spiritual healing with the Beta Healing Group. They offered spiritual healing to the community in Manchester. In 2005 he went on to study Acupuncture and Chinese Massage at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. He graduated in 2009 with a Licentiate in Acupuncture and a BSc (Hons) Degree in Acupuncture. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and abide by the Code of Safe Practice and Code of Professional Conduct. He is commited to continual professional development. I have received postgraduate training in obstetric acupuncture with Jani White, moxibustion and Chinese massage, Sonar Expansion Healing with Ryan Greenwood and leadership with Mary Madhavi.
