Mari Greenly is a Licensed Acupuncturist in Portland OR. I’m Dr. Shannon Freeman, D.Ac., L.Ac., Eastern Medicine Practitioner. I am a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians (Ojibwe/Cree/Metis) in Belcourt, ND. My heritage and upbringing are much of why I do what I do. I first became a Certified Nursing Aide in 1992. I then became a Licensed Massage Practitioner studying under Zdenka Daucik, a European physiotherapist who incorporated specific, long-lasting, deep treatment work into her practice. I received my Eastern Medicine Practitioner License in 2013. I recently received my Doctorate of Acupuncture from Five Branches University, researching allopathic and Eastern Medicine treatment of Lyme Disease, Epstein Bar, long-haul post-Covid, and any other treatment protocols using acupuncture and supporting healing methods. I am currently in a two-year Doctor of Chinese Energetic Medicine Program (D.C.E.M.) awarded by Bian Hua Gong (The Temple of Change and Transformation) Daoist Temple.
The most common patient complaints are pain, emotional issues, fertility, adrenal fatigue, and exhaustion. Through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I provide Chinese medicine diagnoses, acupuncture, and other TCM modalities applicable to the patient’s condition.
My holistic approach includes creating patient-specific ongoing post-treatment goals and recommendations, including nutritional, dietary, lifestyle, and exercise recommendations for orthopedic issues, pain reduction, and improved function. Victor Cheng, L. Ac. is a California Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. He graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(上海中醫藥大學). In his six years in Shanghai, he studied four years in classes and labs covering both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He spent the last two years at Shuguang Hospital(曙光醫院), the first TCM hospital in China and one of the three Level III TCM hospitals, rotating through various specialties. In Shanghai, he took and passed the National Medical Exam in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is also licensed in China.
Victor was born in the US but spent part of his childhood in Taiwan, therefore he is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English. He developed an interest in Chinese Medicine early age seeing his grandmother curing family members with simple home remedies. He went on to study at UC Berkeley and received a Bachelor degree. After college, he began studying Buddhism and volunteered a year teaching Chinese at Developing Virtue Secondary School in the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. Afterwards, he interned one year at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine. In Shanghai, he studied under many renown TCM professors. He is interested in Internal Medicine with an emphasis on healthy diet and exercises.

Toni Twitty is an Acupuncture physician who practices Acupuncture in Edmond, OK. Toni specializes in pain conditions, fertility issues, and digestion.
She attended the Universita degli Studi di Urbino, the Universita degli Studi di Pavia, and the Universita degli Studi di Firenze prior to graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2006 with a Bachelor’s in Forensic Anthropology. She then obtained a Master’s degree in Acupuncture in 2013 from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, FL after she completed over 3,000 hours of education and year-long residency in Acupuncture.
Dr. Toni is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Acupuncture at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Dr. Toni began her career as an Acupuncturist at Valir Health and later decided to create Be Well Acupuncture.
