2 Roads Crossing is the culmination of more than 25 years of study and planning and is a unique and innovative addition to the greater Portland healthcare community. Created by Dr. Stephen Saeks; a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed acupuncturist, this clinic provides both traditional Western Psychological care and Traditional Chinese Medical care. Sylvia Bognar, L. Ac., MSOM is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. Her first acupuncture treatment in 2009 was a life changing experience which triggered her desire to learn more about her newly found passion.
In 2010 she was accepted in the Master’s Program at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA. She completed her education and 850 clinical internship hours at Dongguk University Los Angeles, graduating

We do that by offering a sliding scale of $20-$40, you pay what you can afford on that scale (there is an additional $15 fee for your initial visit).

Our clinic is modeled after Working Class Acupuncture, a community clinic in Portland, OR. At Meeting Point we have a beautiful semi-private community rooms with several massage tables and recliners. In this setting several people can receive treatments at the same time; this creates a healing energy (Qi). We talk in low voices in the community room in order to respect privacy. By practicing community-style acupuncture we are able to keep prices low so you can afford to receive acupuncture as often as you need to get and stay healthy.

Gloria has a degree in Acupuncture from the Oxford Brookes University in England and practiced there for 7 years before moving to the U.S. in 2009. She now has 2 clinics in NC in Asheville and Hendersonville. Her passion is to bring healing to everyone regardless of their financial circumstances.
