Over the past decade, co-founder Brent Dauphin has worked extensively in pain management, treating injured workers within the worker’s compensation system. Brent holds advanced certifications in sports medicine and orthopedics, and specializes in the use of Motor Point Acupuncture, sometimes referred to as dry needling. In addition, Brent is trained and certified in Tuina, a form of Chinese massage used in conjunction with acupuncture for treating pain, and is certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, disease contains two parts analogous to the roots and branches of a tree. The symptoms are like branches, and if you only treat them, the same roots will soon grow the same symptoms again.
