Over the years I have studied under some of the industry’s best educators in acupuncture, massage therapy, biomechanics, exercise science, kinesiology, exercise physiology, yoga, personal training, reiki, and sport specific training. Cathy’s journey in the healing arts began at the tender age of 9, exploring martial arts such as Wing Chun Kung Fu, Qigong, and Tai Chi. This early fascination with body mechanics and movement naturally led her into a career in holistic therapies.
Her Shiatsu journey began in 2014 at the Shiatsu College Hastings, where she graduated in 2017 as the youngest practitioner in her cohort. Cathy’s practice is rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and she continuously expands her knowledge to provide the best care for her clients.
In 2020, Cathy founded Nixon Acupuncture, Shiatsu & Qigong in Rugby, Warwickshire—a tranquil studio offering personalized treatments that combine ancient wisdom with modern techniques.
