Karta also known as Ibolya E. Laar, completed The Master of Science in Acupuncture (MS-Ac) program at New York’s Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), the biggest acupuncture college in the USA. In this program where East meets West, Karta studied the clinical practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in our modern world. She is well trained in the practical application of cupping, gua sha (a scraping technique), moxibustion (heat therapy), the use of electric stimulation (e-stim) and the Chinese body work Tui Na. In addition, Karta is a recent graduate of massage therapy from PCOM as well. Upon completion of this hands-on program she refined her sensitivity to the muscles and joints of the human body enhancing her therapeutic touch.
In her private acupuncture practice Karta teaches her patients pain management and successfully treats shoulder pain, back pain, knee pain, sprains or strains and post-surgery pain including joint replacements. She also treats any type of emotional disturbances such as, anxiety, nervous disorders or the inability to sleep. She promotes and supports fruitful fertility, alleviates painful menstruation, and eliminates PMS symptoms like irritability, anger, cramps, headaches or bloating. In addition she balances the digestive system by relieving constipation, acid reflux, bloating, nausea or gas, and has great results in the management and prevention of allergic reactions such as runny nose, burning eyes, itching, sneezing and/or skin rashes such eczema or acne. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist by the New Hampshire Board of Acupuncture, and board certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the NCCAOM. I am also a Registered Nurse with 23 years of clinical experience in local NH hospitals in various specialties such as cardiac, orthopedic, acute and chronic disease, psychology, maternity and preventative care.
I completed my extensive education and training in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine culminating in a Masters Degree in Acupuncture through the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in Newton, MA.
As an Intern, I practiced Acupuncture at New England School of Acupuncture Teaching Center Clinic, Boston Medical Center Family outpatient center, Winchester Hospital Family Medical Center, Malden Family Medicine Center and Element Care in Lynn, Mass. My extensive training consisted of over 700 hours of direct patient practice.
I have successfully treated conditions such as migraines, headaches, back pain, hip pain, knee pain, asthma, anxiety, shoulder pain, neck pain, mild to moderate depression, smoking cessation, digestive issues, endometriosis, TMJ and more.

Janice combines the best of Eastern and Western medicine. She practiced pharmacy for over 30 years and has an extensive knowledge of western medicine and pharmaceutical care. She is also a Licensed Massage therapist and incorporates that knowledge into her acupuncture treatments. Janice is nationally board certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine. She studied both Japanese and Chinese acupuncture at New England School of Acupuncture.

Dr. Jin has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 36 years and successfully treating thousands of patients with acupuncture and herbal medicine. She has an excellent reputation for achieving outstanding results in a variety of health issues including chronic and complex conditions. She was a medical doctor in China, worked at Yanbian Hospital for 15 years and completed doctorate program in oriental medicine and acupuncture in Yanbian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With high levels of understanding of western and eastern medicine, she is considered an expert in her field. In addition to the pain management, sinus and allergy, internal diseases, infertility, sports injuries, Dr. Jin also treats preventive health, facial rejuvenation, and stress management.

Dr. Jin brings her patients and the Atlanta community a wealth of knowledge from her training and experiences to improve their health by offering safe, effective, non-surgical and drug free solutions.
