If you've been wanting to try acupuncture but are squeamish around needles, then Japanese acupuncture is a great way to start. The Japanese variety utilizes finer needles - barely thicker than a human hair. Instead of relying on a chart, more emphasis is placed on touch and palpation to find the correct insertion points. Seneca Dewbre graduated from West Texas A&M with a bachelors degree in Biology. She then went on to obtain her Master of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from ACAOM in Houston, TX. Seneca worked for a year at The Methodist Hospital in the Houston medical center as well as The Methodist Hospital in Sugarland, TX. She recently moved to Oklahoma City and opened her own clinic, Acupuncture Healing Corner in central Oklahoma City.
