Leanne is a board certified acupuncturist in the state of Washington. She received a Bachelors in Herbal Science and a Masters in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University.
Two years after graduating she moved to the Tacoma/Puyallup area and started her practice. She now splits her time between Sumner and Graham.
She has knowledge of Western as well as Chinese herbal medicine. She also has training in NAET, nutrition and is learning the Myokinesthetic System. Although there's no formal additional training for acupuncturists, Leanne has searched for additional education in Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. She likes working with sufferers of these conditions because they are so complex and very misunderstood.

Janice combines the best of Eastern and Western medicine. She practiced pharmacy for over 30 years and has an extensive knowledge of western medicine and pharmaceutical care. She is also a Licensed Massage therapist and incorporates that knowledge into her acupuncture treatments. Janice is nationally board certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine. because: Though relatiively new to the west, Acupuncture has been in
continuous use for thousands of years in the East and can arguably be
named as the most used system of medicine in the world. I view
acupuncture more of an art than a science. successful treatment, in my
experience, is based on balancing multiple principles that are involved
in Chinese Medical philosophy, rather than chasing symptoms. In doing
so, I am repeatedly inspired by witnessing how my patients are able to
live with less pain and discomfort, and more fully then before.
