Damian McCleod is a NY state licensed acupuncturist and has a Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). Damian’s introduction to the actual practice of acupuncture came after having undergone his second reconstructive knee surgery. At the suggestion of his fellow martial artist and graduate of PCOM, he started receiving acupuncture treatments at the college’s clinic. After having first hand proof of the power of acupuncture, he dedicated himself to the pursuit of Chinese Medicine.

A major influence in his studies came from the martial arts, which he has been a practitioner of since 1993. Damian currently works with martial artist and other athletes in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, with a focus knee pain.

Part of Damian’s philosophy on medicine stems from his undergraduate education; he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. His view is, understanding the complex is a matter of having a firm grasp of the fundamentals. Moon Hill Acupuncture is located in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Ashlie R Martin, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M. works with women during their fertility, pregnancy, and motherhood journey. She offers physical and emotional support as they traverse the various phases of conceiving, being pregnant, and healing from birth. Ashlie offers in-home treatments during the postpartum period and in the event of bed rest. Ashlie also treats a variety of other issues including digestive problems, migraines, insomnia, injury recovery, and emotional concerns such as grief, anxiety, depression, and stress. Ashlie is passionate about empowering her patients and caring for them as they reach toward a more balanced state of health.

Dr. Kevin Kim, who is dually nationally board certified in chiropractic and acupuncture, and a NCCAOM diplomate of Oriental Medicine (OM), is passionate about helping people through chiropractic and acupuncture care. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Science and Master of Science in Acupuncture and OM from South Baylo University in California, and continues to advance his expertise with advanced training in chiropractic care and TCM.
