At High Country Doctor, you'll find a natural medicine practice run by the compassionate and skilled practitioner, Dr. Terence McCormick. It all started in the New York City area in 80's when Dr. McCormick was completing undergraduate coursework in biochemistry and other pre-medical studies. During his four years as a pre-med student, he worked as an assistant and apprentice to acupuncture and naturopathic doctors, graduating from various programs in Eastern and Western styles of manual therapies including naprapathy. After completing his undergraduate degree in public health, he went on to graduate from both a masters and doctoral program at one of the country's top natural medicine colleges in Portland, Oregon. As a doctoral fellow he was an acupuncturist intern at Oregon Health Sciences University Pain Center. He was also an intern at a World Health Organization (WHO) integrative medicine hospital in Nanjing, China. Since then, he's traveled the globe learning new techniques to help others with natural options for their healthcare. Dr. McCormick has completed apprenticeships and post-graduate clinical work with naturopathic physicians, naprapaths, medical doctors, osteopaths, Oriental and Ayrvedic medicine doctors along with various other world renowned practitioners in the natural medicine field. He is motivated by a desire to provide complementary care including alternatives to surgery and drugs. Dr. McCormick's practice provides several natural therapy options that address a wide range of health and wellness concerns. May Huang completed her Chinese medical degree from Tianjin University (China) of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1987 after 5 years of training. She has 13 years of clinical experience working at Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and another 15 years of clinical experience in North York acupuncture clinic in Toronto. She is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R. TCMP) and Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) in Ontario.

Diane Jones, Licensed Acupuncturist, is a 1993 graduate of NESA. She has over 22 years of experience using Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese Acupuncture, and Tung style acupuncture to treat low back pain, joint pain, acute and chronic injuries, headaches sinus infections, digestive disorders, gynecological problems and emotional and stress-related conditions. Diane also treats and helps manage complex immune diseases such as Lyme disease and multiple sclerosis. Kenyon Keily, herbalist, has over 40 years experience in Chinese, Tibetan, and Ayurvedic herbal medicine. He treats all ages for everything from simple ailments to complex, chronic conditions. Kenyon uses herbal medicine to treat emotional or stress-related problems, female and male health and fertility, urinary problems, cardiovascular problems, and digestive issues. He also uses herbs for colds, flus, allergies, sinus congestion, immune weakness, and skin problems. Kenyon specializes in herbal treatments for Lyme disease. Together with Diane Jones, Kenyon helps run a Lyme support group at the office on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.
