Boston Chinese Acupuncture was founded by Li Zheng and Changhong Zhou, PhD, licensed acupuncturists and herbalists. Trained in China at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine under world-renowned practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), they have over 60 years of combined experience using acupuncture and Chinese herbs to treat a variety of difficult and chronic diseases. Our office in Needham is conveniently located near the commuter rail and I-95 and is easily accessible from Boston and its surrounding suburbs, including Wellesley, Dedham, Framingham, Lexington, and Newton.

Kim E. Reid is a Florida licensed acupuncturist, having graduated from The Atlantic Institute for Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine. She is also licensed to practice Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy in the state of Florida.

In addition to her years of standard clinical experience, Kim was lucky enough to be chosen to practice Acupuncture internationally while working for Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland American Cruise Lines. "The most amazing thing about working on the ships, was that I was able to treat a wide variety of diseases. Just by the diverse nature of the guests on-board, I saw patients from all walks of life who sought my services for diabetes, fibromyalgia, erectile dysfunction, shoulder pain, low back pain, restless leg syndrome, stress and anxiety and much more."

In additional to her clinical work, Kim has delivered hundreds of informational seminars helping to educate people who would otherwise never have tried Acupuncture, "my biggest reward is watching someone who walked into the seminar doubtful and afraid of acupuncture but deciding to take a chance and try it for the first time. There is no greater honor than to have someone have such trust in you and your abilities to help them heal. But I have to tell you, the biggest reward was watching these people get up off the table relaxed, amazed and feeling better; no longer doubtful about Chinese Medicine and its power to help heal the body."

Kim is a dedicated professional and is passionate about Chinese Medicine. In addition to the many modalities practiced by Chinese Medicine, Kim is a firm believer in the medicinal effects of Herbal Medicine. Born and raised in Denver Colorado Jamie received her Masters degree in traditional Chinese acupuncture from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2018. She is also a licensed massage therapist and certified Pilates instructor. Combining her acupuncture training with her 20 plus years of experience in massage therapy, she specializes in treating pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction. She also has a passion for helping women with gynecological health.
