Lee Schwalb is an acupuncturist licensed in Pennsylvania and New York State, and holds a board certification as a Chinese Herbalist from the New York Institute of Chinese Herbology. With a Master of Science in Traditional Acupuncture Medicine from the New York College of Health Professions, Lee boasts over two decades of hands-on experience in addressing a broad range of health issues. His education spanned four years and included more than 2,800 hours dedicated to studying acupuncture, herbal medicine, tai chi, and several adjunct therapies such as Tui na (Chinese massage), Eastern nutrition, laser therapy, electric stimulation, and auriculotherapy. Lee enhances his practice with additional healing modalities including Kambo detox therapy, PEMF therapy, and sound healing.

At Anodyne Community Acupuncture, treatments take place in a quiet group setting with each person seated in a reclining chair. Katie is a pain specialist, having trained in pain management at Tufts University School of Medicine and receiving a Masters of Science in addition to earning her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from the New England School of Acupuncture. Katie's passion is using acupuncture and herbal medicine to treat all facets of a patient's pain condition so that patients can improve their overall quality of life. In addition to working at KenkoDo, Katie currently holds a part-time position as a research acupuncturist at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she works with a team of researchers investigating acupuncture's effect on pain modulation via functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Katie also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine, and recently designed her own research study investigating the effects of acupuncture on pre- and postoperative pain, which she is currently conducting at Tufts Medical Center in coordination with the Anesthesia and Orthopedic departments.
