Dr. Alexander J. Hou, M.S., D.O.M., A.P., graduated with a Master of Science degree from Florida College of Integrative Medicine earning his Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician designation in the state of Florida. He is a member of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association (FSOMA). As a 3rd Generation Acupuncturist, he has learned to appreciate both traditional medicine and Western medicine, which can enhance the treatment effectiveness in patients. Drawn to many of the mystical practices that originated in ancient China for most of my life, I’ve been a California state licensed acupuncturist since 2002 and a student of the Jade Purity branch of Daoism since 2001.
After many years of questioning the nature of reality, and using these practices to work through my own struggles, heal old wounds, and find a deeper connection to the Divine, I’ve personally seen just how powerful and transformative this path can be.

Today she sees patients in person and via telemedicine at her office, Boundless Well-Being, located in Virginia Beach. When she’s not with her family or seeing patients, she’s on a trek with notebook and pen or abroad with her husband.
