My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kyung-Hee University in Korea. I have also taught yoga, qi-gong, healing, and meditation in both Korea and the USA. Following in my family's footsteps, I pursued a career in acupuncture and studied Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University in California. Joan has been a compassionate and caring healthcare practitioner for more than 25 years. She began her practice in rehabilitation as an occupational therapist and later pursued acupuncture. Dr. Carmen Jiménez, is a Florida-licensed Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine at Cosmopolitan Healing Center in Plantation, FL. She holds a Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAHM) from Daoist Traditions College, a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University (Los Angeles, CA), and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY). She is a nationally board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM) and is certified in Acupoint Injection Therapy.
With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Jiménez specializes in stress physiology, burnout recovery, nervous system dysregulation, chronic fatigue, hormonal imbalance, anxiety, and insomnia — particularly in high-achieving adults whose symptoms haven't fully resolved with conventional care.

Johnson is a licensed acupuncturist with over 12 years experience in treating musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries. He has worked with athletes of all levels ranging from high school, college and professional sports.
He continues to update and renew his passion in traditional medicine with his ongoing trips to China and other parts of the world to learn and incorporate the natural medicine of different cultures into his practice.
