Vita-Health Acupuncture & Wellness Center is an acupuncture clinic in Pembroke Pines, FL that was founded in 2005 by David and Yelena Pakula, husband and wife acupuncturists. David and Yelena are both Florida licensed Acupuncture Physicians who are Board Certified by the NCCAOM as Diplomats of Oriental Medicine. They each earned a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Together, David and Yelena have completed advanced post-graduate acupuncture training. They successfully completed a 150-hour certification training program in advanced Japanese Acupuncture & Moxibustion techniques in the tradition of Kiiko Matsumoto & Master Nagano. They completed advanced training in Tung style acupuncture and are officers of the World Tung Acupuncture Association, representing the organization in Florida. Yelena Pakula was a Medical Doctor in St. Petersburg, Russia, specializing in neurology, osteopathy and acupuncture.

Lindsay Trottier, DACM L.Ac. is a board-certified acupuncturist and doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine practicing in San Diego, CA.
Dr. Trottier first entered the profession of health and wellness as a certified personal trainer and then as a receptionist in an acupuncture clinic. As a competitive student-athlete, Dr Trottier has always been interested in functional movement and healthy recovery. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she was inspired to begin her training in acupuncture and herbal medicine. In 2015, Dr. Trottier began an apprenticeship with Eileen Han to extend her knowledge of the Balance Method acupuncture made famous by Dr. Richard Tan.
Dr. Trottier has experience helping patients of all ages with sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, digestive complaints, women’s health issues, pre- and post-natal care, cancer-treatment side effects, mental-emotional health, and people with developmental and acquired disabilities.
Her training includes working with NCAA athletes at the UCSD RIMAC center, supporting patients undergoing treatment for various cancers at the UCSD Cancer Center in Encinitas and Rady's Children's Hospital, and caring for children admitted to the Helen Bernardy Center for Medically Fragile Children.
In 2019, Dr. Trottier completed her BaZi Consultant Certification through The Academy of Acupuncture, and now incorporates this understanding of chronoanalysis into her acupuncture practice and also offers virtual consultations to people around the world.
