may I take a little of your time to tell you a little of my story? If you answered yes, read on. My introduction to acupuncture was due to a traumatic accident about twenty-two years ago. I injured my left neck/shoulder/arm and sciatic nerve in 1993 so I could not work as an EMT because I could not lift any thing heavier than a loaf of bread. After trying allopathic medicine for a year, the doctors told me that I would never heal so just learn to live with what left arm and leg movement remained. That's when I decided to try massage school. My injuries did start to heal with daily treatments over a years time but I wanted more pain relief and more strength in my arm and leg so I did more research and decided to start acupuncture school. That turned out to be the best decision of my life. Not only did my left arm and leg get well and pain free, (the muscles that had atrophied returned to their pre injury size) and best of all my pain was gone! The biggest blessing of all was that I found my life's passion. I became an acupuncturist and herbalist to share this healing art with my family and friends. I wake up every day and look forward to serving my community as their favorite health care provider. If you are in my area you are welcome to stop by and visit. Geoff was born in Manchester and attended the Altrincham Grammar School. He went on to study Pharmacology at the University of Leeds. An interest in yoga, meditation and taiji lead him to learn spiritual healing with the Beta Healing Group. They offered spiritual healing to the community in Manchester. In 2005 he went on to study Acupuncture and Chinese Massage at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. He graduated in 2009 with a Licentiate in Acupuncture and a BSc (Hons) Degree in Acupuncture. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and abide by the Code of Safe Practice and Code of Professional Conduct. He is commited to continual professional development. We are a small family run clinic located near the Texas Medical Center. In practice for 31 years, we provide treatments for the full range of conditions which respond to acupuncture.
