I have been interested in Oriental Medicine for over 20 years and have incorporated acupressure, shiatsu and acupuncture in my previous massage and chiropractic practices. Since finishing my studies at the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute and moving to Glens Falls, I have concentrated on acupuncture although I draw on my previous experience to help patients. I feel that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is more than just acupuncture but a way of life that includes exercise, diet and mental outlook. Acupuncture is a powerful tool that allows people to deal with the stresses of everyday living: work, family, aging relatives, what's going on in the world. Addressing all these demands takes a toll; TCM and acupuncture gives people a mechanism to heal themselves and a place where they can begin to bring balance back into their lives.

I enjoy using my experience to work with patients so they can enjoy living and be less burdened down by the demands of their life.

Maegan utilizes herbs & acupuncture to address acute and chronic conditions – from colds and flus to Lyme disease and autoimmune conditions. She is skilled in supporting individuals with issues with digestion, circulation, women’s health, allergies, chronic pain and beyond. She seeks to address all aspects of the individual, and particularly enjoys educating others about lifestyle choices that impact our health, and working with patients within the mental-emotional realm. Maegan also places heavy emphasis on herbal remedies, as she believes the condition of modern life leaves most patients in a depleted state requiring supplementation and nourishment.

Author and Acupuncturist Shoshanna Katzman L.Ac., M.S., Dipl. Ac., & C.H., has been a Chinese Medicine Practitioner for almost 40 years. Combining this with a master's degree in Sports Medicine and master's level training in Energy Medicine, Shoshanna offers a unique form of holistic healing and support to her clients. She serves as Chair of the NJ State Acupuncture Examining Board and is also Chair of the National Qigong Association (NQA) Advisory Council.
