Dr. Mike is a board certified Acupuncture Physician who serves the greater Orlando area. He received his license from Florida State Board of Acupuncture and eventually earned The Master of Auricular Medicine Certificate from Dr. Li Chun Huang "The Queen of Auricular Medicine". He's been helping Orlando residents with acute and chronic pain and stress related health problems since 2006. After his six-year career as an acupuncturist in Orlando, Dr. Mike decided it was time for a change and moved to the middle-east, where he was offered a teaching position at the Traditional Medicine University. Lisa Blake practices using both Chinese and Japanese style acupuncture as well as Chinese Herbs. She received her Masters of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture and is nationally Board certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Lisa is also certified in Auricular Acupuncture through the Auriculotherapy Certification Institute, Inc. Lisa studied Biology and Chemistry to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and also has a Master of Business Administration from Averett University.
Prior to attending acupuncture school Lisa worked for almost 20 years in the Federal Reserve System, and during that time realized that she wanted to spend her time working in a profession that could touch more people’s lives in a way that they could really appreciate. Then through her own health challenges she discovered acupuncture and the rest is history. Lisa’s health journey has given her great insight into how people can feel when there is a health challenge and can no longer do the things they love to do.
