Red Earth Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine clinic was established in the Fall of 2007 with the mission of assisting people take back control of their health and who are eager for effective health solutions not based on pharmaceuticals or surgery. David Toone, L.Ac. David Toone is a classically trained acupuncturist and herbalist. Rawls Whittlesey, L.Ac. is a classically trained acupuncturist. Both are licensed to practice in Georgia.

Dr. Jin has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 36 years and successfully treating thousands of patients with acupuncture and herbal medicine. She has an excellent reputation for achieving outstanding results in a variety of health issues including chronic and complex conditions. She was a medical doctor in China, worked at Yanbian Hospital for 15 years and completed doctorate program in oriental medicine and acupuncture in Yanbian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With high levels of understanding of western and eastern medicine, she is considered an expert in her field. In addition to the pain management, sinus and allergy, internal diseases, infertility, sports injuries, Dr. Jin also treats preventive health, facial rejuvenation, and stress management.

Dr. Jin brings her patients and the Atlanta community a wealth of knowledge from her training and experiences to improve their health by offering safe, effective, non-surgical and drug free solutions. As a board certified Acupuncturist in the state of Georgia and board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), Dr. Jin commits to helping her patients achieve their optimum health. Currently, she is serving as the Director of the Board of National Alliance of Korean Asian Medicine & Acupuncture of U.S.A.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, disease contains two parts analogous to the roots and branches of a tree. The symptoms are like branches, and if you only treat them, the same roots will soon grow the same symptoms again. To effectively heal, one must address the root cause of the of illness so the tree may grow healthy branches. Additionally, two people may both experience a similar disease but have very different underlying root causes. Likewise, two others may have very different diseases but have the same root cause. At Rooted Medicine, Andrea Hingst L.Ac. MSOM, draws from experiences in integrated hospitals and private practice to combine traditional Chinese therapies with modern functional medicine to identify each individual’s unique foundational imbalance to heal from the roots up.

At Santa Cruz CORE, we have a passion for what we do. We make an effort to spend significant time and energy with each patient to ensure their needs are met. For us, it’s more than just acupuncture; our acupuncturists work with multiple healing modalities during an acupuncture session to get you feeling better. Working to create positive change in the body, we use a combination of needling, moxa, gua sha, cupping, ear seeds, massage, and Tai Chi and Qi Gung. Each individual is treated as such, an individual with an unique body and we use our various tools to create the most healing we can in each session.

I have been practicing acupuncture for over 35 years. Area's of expertise include fertility, treatment of pain (Acupuncture 1,2,3), treatment of allergies (NAET), headaches, and women issues.
