I have been interested in Oriental Medicine for over 20 years and have incorporated acupressure, shiatsu and acupuncture in my previous massage and chiropractic practices. Since finishing my studies at the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute and moving to Glens Falls, I have concentrated on acupuncture although I draw on my previous experience to help patients. I feel that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is more than just acupuncture but a way of life that includes exercise, diet and mental outlook. Acupuncture is a powerful tool that allows people to deal with the stresses of everyday living: work, family, aging relatives, what's going on in the world. Addressing all these demands takes a toll; TCM and acupuncture gives people a mechanism to heal themselves and a place where they can begin to bring balance back into their lives.

With nearly three decades of experience, Cynthia Chamberlain, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac, Dipl.CH, is a highly skilled acupuncturist in Overland Park, KS and a dedicated practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. She has also been personally trained in the Balance Method acupuncture system by Dr. Richard Teh Fu Tan since 1998 and has studied advanced Chinese pulse diagnosis and herbal medicine under Dr. Jimmy Zhang Wei-Yin Chang since 2002.

Cynthia holds national certifications in acupuncture and Chinese herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is certified in Shiatsu bodywork. She also brings over 25 years of experience in Chinese martial arts, deepening her understanding of movement, energy flow, and holistic healing.

Kim E. Reid is a Florida licensed acupuncturist, having graduated from The Atlantic Institute for Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine. She is also licensed to practice Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy in the state of Florida.

In addition to her years of standard clinical experience, Kim was lucky enough to be chosen to practice Acupuncture internationally while working for Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland American Cruise Lines. "The most amazing thing about working on the ships, was that I was able to treat a wide variety of diseases.
