Before I pursued medicine, I embarked on a much more “traditional” career path. After graduating from Columbia University in New York City with a B.S. in Engineering and Management Systems, I worked for Ernst & Young, Thomson Financial, and other Wall Street firms as a strategy consultant and pharmaceutical compliance analyst. My previous work experience has been extremely beneficial as it has helped me to understand the unique pressures and stresses that many of my patients experience.

Then one day, I was involved in a horrific car accident which left me in a coma. Doctors informed my family that I had less than a 10% chance to survive....

From the ancient time, foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine had been emphasize on prevent diseases from occurring, stop diseases from progressing, early treatments and cures. One of the many techniques that distinguishes us is that we are one of the few Full Body & more experienced clinical practitioners in the area. Our practitioners combined have more than 50 years of clinic experiences and are generation acupuncturists who follow my family’s foot step. Acupuncture, Cupping, Guasha, TuiNa are some of the modality we offer.

The practitioners in the office participate, and are in network with most of the insurance companies including, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and United Healthcare. It is important to us, that we give our patients the best healthcare experience, from the minute they walk in the door, to the time they walk out.

Here at our Rockville, MD acupuncture center, we specialize in a different style of acupuncture therapy, not widely available. This method is more than 2000 years old and comes from the I Ching, one of the oldest books in the world. This method has several names such as: I Ching Acupuncture, The Balance Method, or Distal Point Acupuncture. No matter what you call it, the effects often seem miraculous to patients.

We commonly use points that are distant from the site of the symptom. Pain relief frequently occurs in seconds and long lasting relief over a series of treatments is usually at least 80%.
