Drawn to many of the mystical practices that originated in ancient China for most of my life, I’ve been a California state licensed acupuncturist since 2002 and a student of the Jade Purity branch of Daoism since 2001.
After many years of questioning the nature of reality, and using these practices to work through my own struggles, heal old wounds, and find a deeper connection to the Divine, I’ve personally seen just how powerful and transformative this path can be.
It has been my blessing to hold space for the journey of my clients and students many times over and I’m constantly inspired by the strength and beauty of the human spirit.
My studies of medicine, meditation, philosophy, mindfulness-based practices, and religion have always been focused on the practical application of these subjects in the lives of my clients and myself.

Janice combines the best of Eastern and Western medicine. She practiced pharmacy for over 30 years and has an extensive knowledge of western medicine and pharmaceutical care. She is also a Licensed Massage therapist and incorporates that knowledge into her acupuncture treatments. Janice is nationally board certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine. Born and raised in Denver Colorado Jamie received her Masters degree in traditional Chinese acupuncture from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2018. She is also a licensed massage therapist and certified Pilates instructor. Her specialty is treating painful women’s gynecological issues such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis and dysmenorrhea which she likes to refer to as Screaming Uterus Syndrome.
She is a former faculty member of the Canadian College of Oriental Medicine (Toronto, Canada) and has published three books on traditional Chinese herbal medicine and theory, as well as authoritative articles on the practice of Oriental Medicine. She graduated with her masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (cum laude) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She has been treating dogs, cats and humans with traditional Chinese medicine since 1995.
In her spare time, Jeanie practices yoga and meditation and she is also an artist and owner of Planet Calamari Art & Publishing.
