A national trainer for NADA, the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association, she has been an adjunct faculty member at Maryland University of Integrative Health, formerly Tai Sophia Institute, for 11 years. She was one of the first social worker’s in the state of Maryland to become an Auricular Detoxification Specialist. Her specialties are spiritual health, behavioral health, trauma, addictions, disabilities, stress management and pain management. Sheri considers herself to be a practitioner in life and has studied healing with indigenous and native peoples from around the globe for the past 20 years.

My name is Patty Johnson and my office is in Rancho Cucamonga CA. I'm listed as Patty Johnson's Acupuncture and Herbs.
may I take a little of your time to tell you a little of my story? If you answered yes, read on. My introduction to acupuncture was due to a traumatic accident about twenty-two years ago. I injured my left neck/shoulder/arm and sciatic nerve in 1993 so I could not work as an EMT because I could not lift any thing heavier than a loaf of bread. After trying allopathic medicine for a year, the doctors told me that I would never heal so just learn to live with what left arm and leg movement remained. That's when I decided to try massage school. My injuries did start to heal with daily treatments over a years time but I wanted more pain relief and more strength in my arm and leg so I did more research and decided to start acupuncture school. That turned out to be the best decision of my life. Not only did my left arm and leg get well and pain free, (the muscles that had atrophied returned to their pre injury size) and best of all my pain was gone! The biggest blessing of all was that I found my life's passion. I became an acupuncturist and herbalist to share this healing art with my family and friends. In 2009 Jason received his Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and has continued to learn from and study with many experts and leaders in the field on a variety of different topics.
