Our husband and wife dynamic duo have been practicing Traditional Chinese medicine, herbal medicine and acupuncture since 2001. The couple has been voted Best of Boise and Top Doc of Eagle many years in a row. They treat all difficult, chronic, illnesses, pain, injury and women’s health including: infertility, miscarriage, hormonal imbalances, menopausal challenges & any and all pain syndromes. They take the most difficult infertility cases in the U.S. through telemedicine with their mastery in sophisticated and complex herbal medicine, functional medicine testing and nutraceutical therapies. The Burrises have had nearly 700 babies born from their work and have been featured as medical authorities and experts in the Idaho Statesman, The San Diego Union Tribune, USA Today, Fox News and NPR radio. Doctors of TCM and acupuncture , who once treated infertility, now refers all of her infertility patients to the Burrises due to their unprecedented depth of knowledge, experience and success. Ms. Burris is completing her dual doctorate in 2024 in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Autumn Jensen L.Ac., MSOM
Licensed Acupuncturist and Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine
Autumn graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College with a Masters of Oriental Medicine. She is certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado and a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado. She is also a Nationally Certified Chinese Herbalist. Autumn is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine along with the Balance Method taught by Dr. Richard Tan, which is very effective in treating pain. Her training included more than 3,000 hours of education and over 1,000 hours of clinical practice.
Autumn also studied in China and received a certificate from the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine Hospital located in Harbin, China. She studied in inpatient and outpatient departments such as Pediatric, OB/GYN, Rehabilitation, Orthopedic, Dermatology, Tuina, Cardiovascular and Neurology.
Autumn chose acupuncture because she values treating the body as a whole, treating each patient as an individual and treating the root of her patient’s problems. She strongly believes in the benefit of preventative medicine and the importance of keeping her patients in balance.
Before finishing her masters, Autumn graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Human Services and worked as a social worker.

Sandy Root, AP, L.Ac., MSTOM, a FL & NY State Licensed Acupuncturist, graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York with her Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2009.
Sandy had clinical experience practicing acupuncture at the Saint Vincent’s Hospital -HIV Clinic, the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases – Initiative for Women with Disabilities, NYU Medical Center, and Pacific College Acupuncture Clinic, and now her own practice in Miami Beach, FL. She is also certified in Constitutional Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
Sandy loves to integrate the science, art, and wisdom of acupuncture into her practice. With her personal study of spiritual & consciousness practices, Sandy has the ability to facilitate and create a space where her patients are driven to empower themselves through the medicine. In the life-long learning this medicine allows, Sandy is excited to continually integrate new ideas into her practice, and generate a community where her patients can continue their path to self-awareness, in body and mind.
