Sandy Root, AP, L.Ac., MSTOM, a FL & NY State Licensed Acupuncturist, graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York with her Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2009.

Sandy had clinical experience practicing acupuncture at the Saint Vincent’s Hospital -HIV Clinic, the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases – Initiative for Women with Disabilities, NYU Medical Center, and Pacific College Acupuncture Clinic, and now her own practice in Miami Beach, FL. She is also certified in Constitutional Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.



Sandy loves to integrate the science, art, and wisdom of acupuncture into her practice. With her personal study of spiritual & consciousness practices, Sandy has the ability to facilitate and create a space where her patients are driven to empower themselves through the medicine. Dr. Kimberly Burger began attending acupuncture school in 1994 and graduated from The Academy of Advanced Complimentary Medicine in 1998 with a PhD in acupuncture and homeopathic medicine. Dr. Burger received clinical hours attending an acupuncture school in Columbo, SriLanka. With additional training in Dr. Tans Balance Method, Master Tung style and theory of acupuncture, interning with Dr. Chow Chen, certification in Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture and Macular Degeneration treatments to reverse and prevent continued degeneration of advancing eye diseases, Dr. Burger has a well rounded education with 29 years of clinical experience in the Chinese medical field of Traditional and Pre-Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2011 Dr. Burger moved her practice to beautiful Maui, Hawaii and was licensed in Hawaii in 2015 and has been serving the west side of Maui in Lahaina. In November 2023 after the Lahaina fires, Dr. Burger relocated her practice to Wailea and has added HBOT to her new location.

Dr. Burger uses Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to enhance and expedite the overall results of acupuncture treatments as well as to eliminate inflammation, pain and heal from chronic diseases including long haul covid and vaccine injury. HBOT is also used to enhance and promote collagen and keratin production in anti aging and cosmetic facial acupuncture.
