A Sarasota resident since 1996 Ms. Bociek had suffered for years from disabling pain and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. After exhausting Western medical treatment she turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She has since been living drug and pain free. This personal experience gives her a unique understanding of the physical, mental and financial toll an illness can take.
A native of Massachusetts, Kim Bociek received her B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Tamara has been accepted as a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. ABORM practitioners have demonstrated competency and advanced knowledge in the field of both Western and Oriental Reproductive Medicine by attending specialized training and passing a rigorous advanced certification examination. The services provided at Integrative Acupuncture integrate approaches from East and West to optimize patient outcomes. “My intent is to work with patients and their physicians to support and complement their IUI and IVF cycles. The two styles of medicine are actually very complementary”.
