Marcia Nogueira, M.S., L.Ac. has been practicing acupuncture since 2004 and has been in her Thousand Oaks location for the past 7 years. She is a graduate of Samra University of Oriental Medicine where she received her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology. She is a California board licensed acupuncturist and currently practices both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Marcelle is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the State of California. She graduated from Yo San University (Los Angeles, CA) in 2015 with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is currently enrolled at Yo San to complete her Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Since 2001 Marcelle has been a professional bodyworker, beginning as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) she spent the better part of a decade working in some of Southern California's premiere spas and wellness centers, and had the privilege of teaching Swedish massage for three years. She also studied a variety of vibrational healing techniques such as Reiki and Medical QiGong. Marcelle's background in bodywork and massage pairs well with acupuncture, and she is very experienced in a variety of techniques to help you stop chasing pain. Her treatments specialize in pain management, herbal medicine, and cosmetic acupuncture.
