Kim E. Reid is a Florida licensed acupuncturist, having graduated from The Atlantic Institute for Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine. She is also licensed to practice Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy in the state of Florida.
In addition to her years of standard clinical experience, Kim was lucky enough to be chosen to practice Acupuncture internationally while working for Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland American Cruise Lines. "The most amazing thing about working on the ships, was that I was able to treat a wide variety of diseases. Just by the diverse nature of the guests on-board, I saw patients from all walks of life who sought my services for diabetes, fibromyalgia, erectile dysfunction, shoulder pain, low back pain, restless leg syndrome, stress and anxiety and much more."

Marcia Nogueira, M.S., L.Ac. has been practicing acupuncture since 2004 and has been in her Thousand Oaks location for the past 7 years. She is a graduate of Samra University of Oriental Medicine where she received her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology. She is a California board licensed acupuncturist and currently practices both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Tessa Olson, Ma.O.M., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. practices acupuncture in Columbus, Ohio.
My first experience with acupuncture came in 2002. My dog, Milo, was struggling with arthritis in his legs, so I took him to my vet for treatment. The results for my 110 pound dog were amazing; Milo ran around like a puppy and was able to get in the car again by himself. I had developed an interest in natural health while living in Eugene, Oregon for 6 years, but wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do. After seeing the results for Milo, acupuncture became my interest and passion.
Tessa received a master’s degree with honors in Oriental Medicine -- specializing in acupuncture and Chinese herbs -- from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, MN. She is board certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio. Her prior experience includes work at Abbott Hospital in Minneapolis with an Integrated Therapy Team – including reflexologists, music therapists, massage therapists, and aromatherapists. At Abbott Hospital, Tessa treated patients recovering from orthopedic surgery and also helped prepare patients for surgery. While at the Courage Center in Minneapolis, she treated patients recovering from stroke or paralysis. Tessa also worked at the Edith Davis Clinic in Bloomington, MN.
Tessa feels like we live in a society that is too fast-paced and stressful; acupuncture and Chinese medicine helps us to slow down, pause, heal, and reset ourselves. She is drawn to Chinese medicine because it provides individualized medicine based on the unique needs of a person. This is an important part of a lifestyle approach to whole body healing and wellness.

David Foster is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in the treatment of neurological and autoimmune conditions. He earned his Master's degree from Pacific College in 2013, apprenticed for two years under Dr. Frank Butler, studying “Zheng Gui Tui Na” massage, then an additional year with Dr. Clayton Shiu, studying the “Xing Nao Kai Qiao” technique to treat cerebrovascular disorders. Most recently he completed Botanical Biohacking’s Microbiome Mastery course. David holds a black belt in shorin ry’u karate and spent 15 years doing stand-up comedy. Karen’s background is in social work. She spent the past 20 years working in sexual assault response and prevention at local, state and national levels. Seeking a more holistic approach to facilitating health and well-being Karen was drawn to study acupuncture. Karen is also an avid runner and cyclist and has found acupuncture to be an important tool for staying healthy, recovering quickly and resolving strains, sprains and other injuries.
