Tamara received her Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture and received advanced training at the Zhejiang
Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China. She is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, (NCCAOM) a national organization established to regulate the practice of acupuncture. She is also a licensed DOM in Florida.
Tamara has been accepted as a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. ABORM practitioners have demonstrated competency and advanced knowledge in the field of both Western and Oriental Reproductive Medicine by attending specialized training and passing a rigorous advanced certification examination. The services provided at Integrative Acupuncture integrate approaches from East and West to optimize patient outcomes. “My intent is to work with patients and their physicians to support and complement their IUI and IVF cycles. The two styles of medicine are actually very complementary”.
Tamara has also been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years and is a Licensed Dietitian and Nutritionist in Massachusetts. She provides nutrition consultation to patients for weight loss, chronic diseases including oncology support, gastrointestinal disorders and cardiovascular health. As a member of the Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine her interest lies in providing counseling for wellness and disease prevention.
Special areas of interest include working with patients experiencing infertility, stress and anxiety, side effects of chemo and radiation therapy and pain management, including musculoskeletal and migraines. Additional specialty training includes the Oncology Acupuncture program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Integrative Medicine Services and advanced infertility training.

Marcia is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her doctoral work specialized in Family Medicine with an emphasis in pain management and mental health. Her internship began at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2005, after graduation in 2008 she went into private practice treating a wide range of ages and health concerns. She holds a national diplomatic certificate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as well as a California, Ohio and Illinois state license.
