Lani’s passion for acupuncture began with the treatment of her daughter for atopic dermatitis. In studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, she could see the relationships of all the body systems to create harmony within to resolve the outward manifestation.
Lani holds a Master’s degree from The New England School of Acupuncture, the oldest acupuncture school in the U.S. She has experience treating patients as young as 10 and as old as 90 for conditions such as asthma, digestive issues, fibromyalgia, migraines, insomnia, addictions, PTSD and musculoskeletal pain.

Marcia Nogueira, M.S., L.Ac. has been practicing acupuncture since 2004 and has been in her Thousand Oaks location for the past 7 years. She is a graduate of Samra University of Oriental Medicine where she received her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology. She is a California board licensed acupuncturist and currently practices both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Sandy Root, AP, L.Ac., MSTOM, a FL & NY State Licensed Acupuncturist, graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York with her Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2009.
Sandy had clinical experience practicing acupuncture at the Saint Vincent’s Hospital -HIV Clinic, the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases – Initiative for Women with Disabilities, NYU Medical Center, and Pacific College Acupuncture Clinic, and now her own practice in Miami Beach, FL. She is also certified in Constitutional Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
