Before I pursued medicine, I embarked on a much more “traditional” career path. After graduating from Columbia University in New York City with a B.S. in Engineering and Management Systems, I worked for Ernst & Young, Thomson Financial, and other Wall Street firms as a strategy consultant and pharmaceutical compliance analyst. My previous work experience has been extremely beneficial as it has helped me to understand the unique pressures and stresses that many of my patients experience.

Then one day, I was involved in a horrific car accident which left me in a coma. Doctors informed my family that I had less than a 10% chance to survive....

Abigail obtained her Bachelors of Science from the University of Maine. She continued on to earn her Masters in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture.
