May Huang completed her Chinese medical degree from Tianjin University (China) of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1987 after 5 years of training. She has 13 years of clinical experience working at Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and another 15 years of clinical experience in North York acupuncture clinic in Toronto. Kathy Addison received her masters degree in 5-Element style acupuncture in 2001 and has also passed the National Acupuncture Exam. She practices in the Carteret Chiropractic and Family Wellness office in Cape Carteret, NC very close to Morehead City, Swansboro, and Emerald Isle. The methods used at my practice are aimed toward giving the body synergism—not just treating symptoms temporarily or numbing pain with numerous medications. I strive to help the body heal itself from within, by treating the root and not just the branch of a problem.
