may I take a little of your time to tell you a little of my story? If you answered yes, read on. My introduction to acupuncture was due to a traumatic accident about twenty-two years ago. I injured my left neck/shoulder/arm and sciatic nerve in 1993 so I could not work as an EMT because I could not lift any thing heavier than a loaf of bread. After trying allopathic medicine for a year, the doctors told me that I would never heal so just learn to live with what left arm and leg movement remained. That's when I decided to try massage school. My injuries did start to heal with daily treatments over a years time but I wanted more pain relief and more strength in my arm and leg so I did more research and decided to start acupuncture school. That turned out to be the best decision of my life. Not only did my left arm and leg get well and pain free, (the muscles that had atrophied returned to their pre injury size) and best of all my pain was gone! The biggest blessing of all was that I found my life's passion. I became an acupuncturist and herbalist to share this healing art with my family and friends. Diane Jones, Licensed Acupuncturist, is a 1993 graduate of NESA. She has over 22 years of experience using Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese Acupuncture, and Tung style acupuncture to treat low back pain, joint pain, acute and chronic injuries, headaches sinus infections, digestive disorders, gynecological problems and emotional and stress-related conditions. Diane also treats and helps manage complex immune diseases such as Lyme disease and multiple sclerosis. Kenyon Keily, herbalist, has over 40 years experience in Chinese, Tibetan, and Ayurvedic herbal medicine. He treats all ages for everything from simple ailments to complex, chronic conditions. Kenyon uses herbal medicine to treat emotional or stress-related problems, female and male health and fertility, urinary problems, cardiovascular problems, and digestive issues. He also uses herbs for colds, flus, allergies, sinus congestion, immune weakness, and skin problems. Kenyon specializes in herbal treatments for Lyme disease. Together with Diane Jones, Kenyon helps run a Lyme support group at the office on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.
