A Sarasota resident since 1996 Ms. Bociek had suffered for years from disabling pain and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. After exhausting Western medical treatment she turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She has since been living drug and pain free. Dr. Alexander J. Hou, M.S., D.O.M., A.P., graduated with a Master of Science degree from Florida College of Integrative Medicine earning his Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician designation in the state of Florida. He is a member of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association (FSOMA). While living abroad, she studied with well renowned holistic healers in Europe, North and Central America. Uli also trained as a Naturopath (Heilpraktiker) in Germany. Starting in 2012, she worked as a clinic manager and assistant for acupuncturists at one of the most distinguished acupuncture clinics in the Southeast, while getting her Masters Degree in Acupuncture from Jung Tao School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
