Jill Moran grew up in Toronto, and later earned an Honours Degree in Bio-Medical Science from the University of Guelph. After graduation she headed west where she attended the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, completing a 5 year degree in Diploma of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. To better her understanding in both the culture and the knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine Jill has traveled to Harbin, China where she completed an internship at the #1 Hospital of the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Hei Long Jiang Province. While there she obtained 583 hours of additional clinic experience in Acupuncture, Tuina Massage, and Chinese Herbal Medicine. It was while in China that she found her passion for both neuro-muscular conditions such as stroke, migraine, paralysis and pain, and women’s health. With great fortune Jill completed a rotation in the gynecology department where she gained valuable knowledge in dealing primarily with issues related to pregnancy and birth preparation.
Jill spent her youth and young adulthood playing competitive sports including downhill racing and lacrosse for her varisty university team. From these experiences she has a great understanding of the body, its movements and strain and stress the body endures that might result in injury and muscle fatigue. Jill has been practicing on the Westshore for two years at Mandala Center for Health and Wellness and more recently has joined Pure Ellements Wellness.
Jill has continued her studies in Chinese Medicine by acquiring certifications in Ear Acupuncture (NADA), Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture with Virginia Doran, Sports Medicine Acupuncture with Matt Callison, and is currently working her way towards her certification in Fellowship of American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM) having already completed several courses with the likes of Jane Lyttleton, Debra Betts. Jill has also found recent enjoyment in teaching TCM courses at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC.

Joanne is an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner, she has spent the last 16 years using acupuncture tire and herbal medicine to support people starting a family in pregnancy, fertility treatment supporting IVF and stress reduction. She also treats pregnant women who want to go into labour

As a dedicated licensed acupuncturist, and board certified Chinese herbalist, I am determined to help my patients reach their goals regarding their health ailments. Graduating from Pacific College as valedictorian with a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine and holding a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Science from Marquette University, I have developed a deep appreciation for the profound effect Chinese Medicine can have on the physical body, as well as the mind and spirit. With a foundation of Chinese Medicine, addressing diet, lifestyle, exercise, and emotional well-being, these key components can achieve optimal health and balance.
I have treated a number of health ailments ranging from musculoskeletal disorders, migraines headaches, pain management, digestive issues, weight management, and psychological disorders such as depression and anxiety. With extensive training and continued education, I have a passion for treating women's health issues, including infertility and pregnancy related complaints.

At East Bridge Wellness, we have created an innovative center for healing using acupuncture and massage and other modalities. After years of collaboration, we have developed an intuitive ability to work together, not only with each other but with our patients. With our team of experienced and talented practitioners, our goal is to reach out to people in the Portland community and make a positive impact on their quality of life through health and wellbeing.

Licensed since 1991, Brenda Loew is an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr Center for Natural Health and she teaches Japanese acupuncture seminars at various venues throughout the U.S. and Canada. She sees patients in her private family practice in Seattle, is an authorized Toyohari Meridian Therapy Instructor, a co-founder and instructor for the Japanese Acupuncture Institute, and co-founded and volunteers at Seattle Acupuncture for Veterans Clinic [a free clinic]. Brenda is the assistant editor of Keiraku Chiryo: International Toyohari Meridian Therapy News (2005-present).
