Dr. Kevin Kim, who is dually nationally board certified in chiropractic and acupuncture, and a NCCAOM diplomate of Oriental Medicine (OM), is passionate about helping people through chiropractic and acupuncture care. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Science and Master of Science in Acupuncture and OM from South Baylo University in California, and continues to advance his expertise with advanced training in chiropractic care and TCM.

Karta also known as Ibolya E. Laar, completed The Master of Science in Acupuncture (MS-Ac) program at New York’s Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), the biggest acupuncture college in the USA. In this program where East meets West, Karta studied the clinical practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in our modern world. She is well trained in the practical application of cupping, gua sha (a scraping technique), moxibustion (heat therapy), the use of electric stimulation (e-stim) and the Chinese body work Tui Na. Marcia Nogueira, M.S., L.Ac. has been practicing acupuncture since 2004 and has been in her Thousand Oaks location for the past 7 years. She is a graduate of Samra University of Oriental Medicine where she received her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology. She is a California board licensed acupuncturist and currently practices both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She has traveled to China to further her studies of Eastern Medicine and completed an internship at the International Acupuncture Training Center in Beijing.
