Elif Kuzu's practice integrates traditional Chinese medicine and Japanese Kotatoma world views. She earned her B.S. in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Texas Tech, Lubbock, Texas. Her education also includes a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College, Boulder, Colorado. Where she was trained in Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine as well as Qi gong, Tai Qi, Shaitsu (Japanese style massage), Tui Na (Chinese style massage), Chinese nutrition, injection therapy and much more. Southwest Acupuncture College is nationally accredited school and board certified.

Phinney Ridge Community Acupuncture is a community clinic designed to bring high-quality, affordable, and effective acupuncture to the heart of North Seattle; serving the neighborhoods of Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, Green Lake, Ballard, Crown Hill, Fremont and more. Treatments are on a sliding scale of $20 – $40 per treatment, plus a one time $10 intake fee the first visit. No proof of income is required; you decide what you can afford. Payment is cash or check only.

Caitlin is a board certified acupuncturist, clinical herbalist, and is a skilled and intuitive practitioner. She specializes in women’s health and the treatment of fertility.

Caitlin graduated from a three-year program with a Masters of Science in Acupuncture from Bastyr University, and is nationally board certified. She has received additional training in women’s health and fertility, pediatric care, and facial rejuvenation.

The power of combining acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapies with western medicine yields incredible results. Caitlin is fascinated by bringing the 3,000 year old Eastern medicine into contemporary medical times. Caitlin believes that acupuncture and Eastern medicine are key components of today’s health care system. She works well with allied health professionals and would love to be a member of your health care team.

Caitlin also works at Bastyr University’s Chinese herbal dispensary as a shift supervisor. Teaching the students a hands on experience with the raw, granular and patent herbal formulas, as well as how to run and operate a successful herbal dispensary for their future practices.

In her practice, Caitlin sees patients coming in for a wide variety of symptoms. However, her expertise and passions lie in treating women’s health and wellness, from fertility with IUI/IVF support, pregnancy support, postpartum, stress, insomnia, fatigue, chronic and acute pain, headaches, to digestive health. Having been in practice for twelve years, Amadea has had experience working with a wide variety of health issues and concerns.  She has worked with people with pain including injuries, surgeries and auto immune disorders.  Emotional concerns and stress are also commonly treated in her practice.  She has specialized experience working with infertility and has worked closely with medical doctors in the field.  Many people come to acupuncture regularly once they experience how it is preventative and helps with stress.
