Wellness One of South Bergen is pleased to have two advanced acupuncturists on staff - Michael Y. Ng, L.Ac., Dipl. Acupuncture and Shannon DiCarlo, MS RN LAc, Dipl. OM.
Michael Y. Ng, L.Ac., Dipl. Acupuncture, studied Acupuncture at the Swedish School of Acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy at the Eastern School of Oriental Medicine, and received classical training from world master Jeffrey Yuen. He comes from a family of Chinese medical doctors and follows his family tradition in Chinese medicine.
Michael cares for a variety of patients of all ages and needs for both acute and chronic health concerns. He is dedicated to the patient’s needs as he employs a variety of modalities in addition to acupuncture including cupping, guasha and moxabustion, as well as employing Chinese herbs. He is licensed in both New Jersey and New York.
In addition to his acupuncture and Eastern medicine education and training, Michael holds an M.B.A from Duke University.
Michael has appointment availability during weekdays and evenings as well as on Saturday mornings.

Dr. Vyvyen Le is a chiropractor and registered acupuncturist who has been practicing in the greater Toronto area since 2005. Dr. Le seeks to identify and address the cause of distress in the body, rather than treating the symptoms. John Howard completed his degree in acupuncture from the Maryland Institute of Traditional Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. John holds two professorships; one in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the other in Western Medicine from George Washington University (GWU). Professor (Prof) Howard lectured on suturing and minor trauma management.
Upon completion of his degree Prof Howard entered into a five-year fellowship with the US military under the direction of Dr. Richard Niemtzow, MD, PHD. Prof Howard is both a clinician and an Academician. As an academician, he provides national and international lectures in acupuncture and auriculotherapy. He has authored five books and 21 articles on these two fields. He is also dedicated to the promotion of knowledge and has been awarded the dissemination of seminal works of Dr. Raphael Nogier (The RAFT (Radial Artery Food Test) and of Dr. René Bourdiol (Elements of Auriculotherapy).
In 2014 Prof Howard served as the vice president of the 8th International Symposium of Auriculotherapy in the United States. In 2016 Prof Howard became a consultant for ZeroMed (a holistic medical goods company) to design auriculotherapy protocols. Currently he is the President of the United States branch of the Raphael Nogier School of Auriculotherapy.

Rachelle Lambert has earned a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, graduating from the prestigious school the Academy of Integrative Medicine at Austin. She is licensed through the Texas Medical Board and Colorado State as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist, and certified by NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. Over the course of her 4 year study, she learned special techniques in weight loss, dermatology, pediatrics, facial rejuvenation, and acupuncture orthopedics. Rachelle was fortunate enough to study in China at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and trained in a Chinese medical hospital. As part of her internship, she practiced acupuncture at Seton Williamson County Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. Rachelle spent time in 2010 and 2011 changing lives around the world on cruise ships. She has worked for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, on ships including Splendour of the Seas, Eclipse, and Oasis of the Seas. She has a collection of testimonies that you may read proving fast and effective results. Rachelle is also involved with a research group at University of Texas at Austin. She published two articles in the Wellness Section of two L/G Style Magazines in 2012. Rachelle is also the Creator and Director of the First Annual Natural Living Festival, Austin, TX, 2014. Lana Moshkovich, LAc, ND, MSOM, trained in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), offers acupuncture, as well as a dietary approach, alone or with herbal remedies, to resolve musculoskeletal pain and numbness, gastrointestinal complains, chronic conditions, insomnia, anxiety and women’s health issues.
