Before I pursued medicine, I embarked on a much more “traditional” career path. After graduating from Columbia University in New York City with a B.S. in Engineering and Management Systems, I worked for Ernst & Young, Thomson Financial, and other Wall Street firms as a strategy consultant and pharmaceutical compliance analyst. My previous work experience has been extremely beneficial as it has helped me to understand the unique pressures and stresses that many of my patients experience.

After exhausting Western medical treatment she turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She has since been living drug and pain free. This personal experience gives her a unique understanding of the physical, mental and financial toll an illness can take.

A native of Massachusetts, Kim Bociek received her B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her medical education continued at the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota where she received her Masters degree in Oriental Medicine and is now a Board Certified Acupuncture Physician. With over 18 years of medical health industry experience she has treated a variety of disorders including pain management, arthritis, cancer, post stroke, insomnia and stress related illness.

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist who loves to help people of all ages feel more ease in their lives physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. There are over 365 acupuncture points on the body to support your body’s innate ability to heal. Anyone who receives treatment from me can learn this art of returning to a state of ease and Wellness.
