We are a small family run clinic located near the Texas Medical Center. In practice for 31 years, we provide treatments for the full range of conditions which respond to acupuncture. We routinely recieve referrals from internists, neurologists, endocrinologists, reproductive endocrinologists, cardiologists ,psychiatrists, psychologists, physical therapists and chiropractors. We also provide rehabilitation services for orthodedic and neurological problems and have a personal trainer on site skilled in corrective exercise.

Allison strives to provide a safe space to discover health and joy with the help of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She firmly believes that you and your body are capable of so much. The innate wisdom of your body can lead you towards greater wellness, sometimes we just need help remembering. Allison’s formal training was completed at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon where she received a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine with Honors. Training in Classical Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Qigong and Worsley Five Element Acupuncture has filled Allison’s toolbox with effective means for treating disease and walking with patients towards harmony and a more ease-filled life.

Our husband and wife dynamic duo have been practicing Traditional Chinese medicine, herbal medicine and acupuncture since 2001. Reproductive endocrinologists have referred their own wives for a natural approach to their own infertility. Ms. Burris is completing her dual doctorate in 2024 in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Mr. Burris has two additional years of training in martial arts, meditation and medical massage from the Taoist Sanctuary in San Diego. Ms. Burris was featured as “The Babymaker” on the cover of HERLIFE magazine and was honored by Evergreen herbs as one of their Top doctors in the U.S.. Both of the happily married couple taught graduate students at their alma mater, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine now known as Pacific College of Health Science in San Diego in a variety of classes and Mrs. Burris was the first person to be honored by their alma mater as as success in the field of TCM and acupuncture .
