Karen is a graduate of the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago and received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Illinois as well as a National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) certified herbalist. Sylvia Bognar, L. Ac., MSOM is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. Her first acupuncture treatment in 2009 was a life changing experience which triggered her desire to learn more about her newly found passion.
