Dr. Fu is a California Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist with a M.S. and a Ph.D. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Located in Irvine, CA, Dr. Fu is a third-generation Chinese Medical practitioner.

He was honored with a Clinic Award for academic achievement and outstanding services provided to his patients. He practiced in the Tzu Chi Community Clinic of the Tzu Chi Foundation for integrative medicine in collaboration with medical doctors and is credentialed for treatment of patients referred by Aetna, Blue Shield, United Healthcare, and Cigna Insurance Companies.

His clinic, Irvine Meridian Health Center, provides a healing atmosphere in a brand new, beautiful, class A medical building near the Irvine Hoag Hospital and Kaiser Permanente Hospital. Joseph Tonzola L.Ac., Dipl. OM integrates acupuncture with functional medicine to effectively and holistically treat skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. He works through guiding each patient back to health through restoring healthy function of thyroid activity, blood sugar balance, adrenal health, and decreasing overall chronic inflammation.
