I am an Acupuncturist and Herbalist accustomed to treating a wide variety of conditions ranging from chronic and acute pain, to allergies, to hormonal imbalances associated with menopause and autoimmune disorders, to palliative care for cancer patients, as well as insomnia and anxiety. Ulrike (Uli) Junker is an Acupuncturist practicing in Charleston, SC.
While living abroad, she studied with well renowned holistic healers in Europe, North and Central America. Uli also trained as a Naturopath (Heilpraktiker) in Germany. Starting in 2012, she worked as a clinic manager and assistant for acupuncturists at one of the most distinguished acupuncture clinics in the Southeast, while getting her Masters Degree in Acupuncture from Jung Tao School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Uli is a dedicated integrative practitioner. She offers compassionate, personalized care to each patient on their individual journey to more vibrant health.
She is state licensed in South Carolina as an Acupuncturist and Auricular Detoxification Therapist (NADA - ACU Detox) and National Board Certified with NCCAOM (Dipl. Ac.).
Her areas of special interests include mental health, addiction detox, personal injury and workmans’ compensation, maternal and pediatric care, autoimmune disease (JMT certified), pain management, nutrition and weight loss.

Her internship began at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2005, after graduation in 2008 she went into private practice treating a wide range of ages and health concerns. As a member of a family of acupuncturists and herbalists, I am proud to be a fourth-generation practitioner. My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kyung-Hee University in Korea. I have also taught yoga, qi-gong, healing, and meditation in both Korea and the USA. Following in my family's footsteps, I pursued a career in acupuncture and studied Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University in California.
