Sarah became interested in acupuncture as a career during high school. She chose to study physiology at the Lyman Brigg's School of Michigan State University. After undergrad, Sarah continued her education at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR. She spent 3 full years learning Chinese Medicine, including anatomy, physiology, Chinese medical theory, western pathology, acupuncture, Chinese herbology, nutrition, shiatsu massage, taichi,
and qigong. She also completed a 1 year internship in her last year of school, where she studied under both Chinese and Western acupuncturists and herbalists. She completed her qigong training with a certification to teach 1000 Hands Buddha Qigong.

Sarah has continued expanding her acupuncture knowledge by taking many continueing education courses. These include Chinese medical theory, the treatment of stress, anxiety, and pain, women's health, GI disorders and allergies. She has studied balance method with Dr. Tan, the Mei Zen Cosmetic acupuncture system, the Battlefield Acupuncture protocol for pain management and Chinese language. Most recently she has completed a 3 weekend intensive training in Sports Medicine Acupuncture and is working on completing the ABORM exam for certification in reproductive medicine.

As a member of a family of acupuncturists and herbalists, I am proud to be a fourth-generation practitioner. My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kyung-Hee University in Korea. I have also taught yoga, qi-gong, healing, and meditation in both Korea and the USA. Following in my family's footsteps, I pursued a career in acupuncture and studied Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University in California. Diane Jones, Licensed Acupuncturist, is a 1993 graduate of NESA. She has over 22 years of experience using Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese Acupuncture, and Tung style acupuncture to treat low back pain, joint pain, acute and chronic injuries, headaches sinus infections, digestive disorders, gynecological problems and emotional and stress-related conditions. Diane also treats and helps manage complex immune diseases such as Lyme disease and multiple sclerosis. Kenyon Keily, herbalist, has over 40 years experience in Chinese, Tibetan, and Ayurvedic herbal medicine. He treats all ages for everything from simple ailments to complex, chronic conditions. Kenyon uses herbal medicine to treat emotional or stress-related problems, female and male health and fertility, urinary problems, cardiovascular problems, and digestive issues. He also uses herbs for colds, flus, allergies, sinus congestion, immune weakness, and skin problems. Kenyon specializes in herbal treatments for Lyme disease. Together with Diane Jones, Kenyon helps run a Lyme support group at the office on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.
