A native of Peabody, MA, Elizabeth graduated from Mt. Ida College in 1986 and Lesley University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Art Therapy.
After several years working in public and private sectors, Elizabeth witnessed the positive impacts of acupuncture and decided to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She graduated from the oldest school in the United States, the New England School of Acupuncture and is an NCCAOM Diplomate licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In addition, Elizabeth pursued advanced acupuncture training in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture protocol (“cosmetic acupuncture”) and Master Tung Acupuncture Style that advances patients recovery with minimal needles to bring about maximum response.
The Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture practitioner believes holistic beauty is achieved by working on the inside to most effectively change the outside appearance, allowing innate beauty to emerge. Cosmetic acupuncture system is often referred to as an “acupuncture facelift” or “Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture”, but it is much more than a “cosmetic” procedure. It is a rejuvenation and revitalization process designed to help renew your skin’s appearance while promoting a healthy mind and body. Elizabeth studied the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture system under one of its developers, Dr. Martha Lucas, PhD, LAc., Doctor of Research Psychology, nationally certified and licensed to practice TCM. Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture is also highly effective in balancing hormones that can cause acne. As a result, there is a reduction or elimination of both rosacea and acne by restoring harmony in the body and clearing "qi" blockages or nerve channels throughout the body.

I have been in practice for more than twenty-five years and treat a wide range of disorders from gastrointestinal to musculoskeletal. I treat one person at a time, taking whatever time is required. I like to establish trust and rapport in a comfortable setting. I answer all questions that I can and give explanations for how I have arrived at the treatment I recommend. Jennifer E. Winer L.Ac. graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Minnesota State University at Mankato in 1998. She worked in the financial field before returning to school to study Oriental medicine in 2000. Jennifer made the decision to pursue a career in Oriental medicine after experiencing chronic pain and trying all of the traditional therapies available without any success. She believed there had to be alternative options for medical care and wanted to help others. Jennifer had some acupuncture for her Chronic pain and it worked! She made it her life's mission to help as many people as she can with this amazing medicine.
She received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Racine, WI on October 4, 2003. During graduate school, Jennifer studied abroad at the Training Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou, China and received a certificate in the Advanced Course of Acupuncture of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Jennifer is licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin and is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is clean-needle technique certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
