I am a CA state licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist specializing in women’s health care, with an emphasis on fertility enhancement and pregnancy care. I graduated from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine where I also served on the faculty. Helen Castro earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1992. She earned a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007. After working the past 20 years as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of healthcare settings from hospital based rehabilitation clinics to home care service, I became interested in approaching healing from a different perspective in order to help people become empowered about their health on all levels.
