Co-founder Megan Dauphin is a California board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist renowned for her expertise in fertility, menopause, hormonal balance, metabolic disorders, and digestive health. With a unique blend of certifications in functional medicine, plant-based nutrition, and Chinese medicine infertility specialization, Megan crafts holistic treatments tailored to each individual's needs.

Over the past decade, co-founder Brent Dauphin has worked extensively in pain management, treating injured workers within the worker’s compensation system. Brent holds advanced certifications in sports medicine and orthopedics, and specializes in the use of Motor Point Acupuncture, sometimes referred to as dry needling. In addition, Brent is trained and certified in Tuina, a form of Chinese massage used in conjunction with acupuncture for treating pain, and is certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

The methods used at my practice are aimed toward giving the body synergism—not just treating symptoms temporarily or numbing pain with numerous medications. I strive to help the body heal itself from within, by treating the root and not just the branch of a problem. I use a wide variety of modalities that best serve the individual needs of the patient: acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, herbal formulas, Tui Na (Asian Bodywork), and Kinesiotaping. These methods can be integrated with Western approaches as well. Your treatment will be a partnership: discussed, understood, and agreed upon. While a particular procedure may be indicated for specific purposes, I believe the path to health is best navigated complemented by knowledge and awareness of a patient’s needs and goals.
I am a diplomate of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I received my Master’s degree from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, one of the most respected acupuncture schools in the United States. My coursework involved 3,000 hours of study in acupuncture, Chinese herbs and herbal formulas, as well as Western medical training, including over 900 hours of supervised clinical training.

My knowledge, education, and background in health and fitness are quite vast. Over the years I have studied under some of the industry’s best educators in acupuncture, massage therapy, biomechanics, exercise science, kinesiology, exercise physiology, yoga, personal training, reiki, and sport specific training. I am consistently working to stay at the cutting edge of the wellness industry. I work with humans of ALL shapes, sizes, abilities, and disabilities. My extensive background allows me to work with everyone and anyone on a body/mind/spirit level. I teach each person how to live and function more efficiently in life, whether an athlete working to take his/her game to the next level or an “average Joe/Jill” working to become more present to life and its offerings.

Dr. Réquel Lopes, AP is the owner and healing practitioner at Dragonfly Wellness in Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale, FL. She earned her graduate degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the prestigious AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, in Austin, Texas. She is a licensed acupuncture physician in the state of Florida and board certified by the National Certification of Oriental Medicine Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Oriental Medicine. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Barnard College of Columbia University in Psychology. She is a member of Florida State Oriental Medical Association.

She has been treating patients for the past 10 years. As a licensed Acupuncture Physician, she brings her extensive experience to her patients by using an integrative care approach. She uses various modalities in combination, to best address her patient’s needs. This comprehensive approach may include acupuncture, cupping therapy, Chinese herbal formulations, as well as lifestyle counseling to restore balance and promote optimal health for the body, mind, and spirit. She incorporates various styles and techniques with her gentle needling treatments –Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element, Esoteric Acupuncture (Sankey Acupuncture), Master Tung Style, Dr. Tan’s Balance method, and Neuro-acupuncture from Dr. Hao.

Dr. Lopes treats successfully a wide variety of pain, insomnia, emotional, digestive issues, headaches, gynecological and fertility challenges, insomnia and emotional issues. She is fueled by her passion to help people to truly take hold of their health and wellness. She is successful because she listens and empowers each one to reach their goals.

Dr. Lopes give back to her community in many ways. She participates in health fairs, fundraising events and she is the chair of the HIV Planning Council and a board member of The Poverello Center, one of the largest food banks in Broward County. She is a firm believe in a holistic approach to healthcare, which includes personal and community healing.
