From the ancient time, foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine had been emphasize on prevent diseases from occurring, stop diseases from progressing, early treatments and cures. And it has always been our focus. With our clinics, we give our patients the best care. Each patients is being evaluated and tailored with a individual treatment plan to achieve maxium benefits.

Our vision is to help create a healthier and more active community. We believe in providing a unique approach of combining alternative medicine with conventional medicine, and public education for patients to understand their body and better care themselves.

One of the many techniques that distinguishes us is that we are one of the few Full Body & more experienced clinical practitioners in the area. Our practitioners combined have more than 50 years of clinic experiences and are generation acupuncturists who follow my family’s foot step. Acupuncture, Cupping, Guasha, TuiNa are some of the modality we offer.

The practitioners in the office participate, and are in network with most of the insurance companies including, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and United Healthcare. It is important to us, that we give our patients the best healthcare experience, from the minute they walk in the door, to the time they walk out.

Specializing in acupuncture and traditional Chinese Medicine; Evenstar Acupuncture is owned and operated by Dr. Taylor Blair in Largo, FL. In addition to her Largo location, she also sees patients in St. Pete for community acupuncture. In addition to acupuncture, she offers cupping, herbal consultations, weight loss, b12 injections, and facial rejuvenation.

Aligned Modern Health has six locations in the Chicago area, which provide personalized service to help you live better including: • Physical rehabilitation, • Chiropractic care, • Acupuncture, • Functional nutrition, • Exercise and yoga classes – minimize these as well.Each location is staffed by licensed massage therapists, acupuncturists, and supported with a staff of caring doctors and nutritional experts to provide you with complete health and wellness services.

When Melinda is not treating patients, you will most likely find her in the ocean with her family on the Seacoast of NH. Melinda is an avid surfer (yes, even during the New England winters!), certified yoga teacher, and lifelong athlete. She possesses an innate appreciation of the importance of developing and maintaining a strong and healthy body and mind.

As a licensed Acupuncturist, Melinda blends the best of both eastern and western medicine. In addition to her education and clinical experience, Melinda spent over a decade training doctors in medical devices and robotic surgical technology. As a result, she has an excellent foundation and appreciation for western medicine, while recognizing the importance of comprehensive, integrative care for patients. Compelled by helping others, she made the decision to leave her career and become a healthcare provider herself. Melinda chose the field of Acupuncture because it gives her the unique opportunity to provide personalized, holistic, patient-centered care.

Melinda Ferreira is a nationally board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture, and is licensed to practice in the state of NH. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS University. During her 3 years of training, she completed clinical internships at Massachusetts General Hospital, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Cambridge Health Alliance, MCPHS University, and Element Care Senior Clinic. She is currently completing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine.

My journey as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner started in 1994 when I met a monk in Taiwan who taught me about meditation, cleansing, food healing, calligraphy and Chinese health practices. For 10 years, I travelled around the world studying natural healing and classical Asian martial arts from various masters, healers and schools.

I graduated from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in British Columbia with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, modelled after the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine curriculum.

I’ve been in clinic practice for over 10 years in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. I am a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners and Acupuncturists in Ontario under the following number: 2807. I currently see patients at The Village Clinic in Westboro.

I teach weekly Qigong and Chen Style Tai Chi classes at Aylmer Qigong and Tai Chi and I hold regular at workshops, lectures, webinars and events on health and well-being.

I also lecture and write on child developmental psychology and behaviour using traditional Chinese medicine. I am the author of the book Democratic Parenting and the creator of The ADHD Transformation Program.

I have advanced training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Therapy, Dietary Recommendations, Qigong/Tai Chi, and Traditional Chinese Medical Psychology.
