Phinney Ridge Community Acupuncture is a community clinic designed to bring high-quality, affordable, and effective acupuncture to the heart of North Seattle; serving the neighborhoods of Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, Green Lake, Ballard, Crown Hill, Fremont and more. Carmen E. Jiménez is a bilingual (Spanish) Holistic Medicine Practitioner with a Master’s in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University (Los Angeles, CA) and a Bachelor's of Arts from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY). She is licensed by the State of Florida Department of Health as a Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and is qualified to provide Acupoint Injection Therapy and is certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for AcupunctureOriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In addition to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Carmen has trained in various advanced techniques in Functional Physiology and Bio-Energetic Medicine. These include Total Body Modification, Natural Healing Systems and Functional Nutrition, to name a few.
Prior to becoming a Holistic Medicine Practitioner, Carmen managed and helped develop clinical trials for pharmaceuitcal companies, domestic and internationally. She has an extensive experience studying the effects of prescription medications on the body and this knowledge motivated her to pursue a change in careers.
