If you've been wanting to try acupuncture but are squeamish around needles, then Japanese acupuncture is a great way to start. The Japanese variety utilizes finer needles - barely thicker than a human hair. Instead of relying on a chart, more emphasis is placed on touch and palpation to find the correct insertion points. Michael has worked in the healing arts for over 20 years. In addition to being a National Board Certified Acupuncturist, he is a licensed Massage Therapist and Traditional Reiki Master. He developed and has been teaching the Massage Therapy Program at Stark State College in Canton for over 15 years. His gentle and educational style has helped people with a wide variety of symptoms from pain, infertility, stress and much more.
