My journey as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner started in 1994 when I met a monk in Taiwan who taught me about meditation, cleansing, food healing, calligraphy and Chinese health practices. For 10 years, I travelled around the world studying natural healing and classical Asian martial arts from various masters, healers and schools.
I graduated from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in British Columbia with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, modelled after the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine curriculum.
I’ve been in clinic practice for over 10 years in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. I am a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners and Acupuncturists in Ontario under the following number: 2807.
I used to teach weekly Qigong and Chen Style Tai Chi classes at Aylmer Qigong and Tai Chi and I hold regular at workshops, lectures, webinars and events on health and well-being.
I also lecture and write on child developmental psychology and behaviour using traditional Chinese medicine. I am the author of the book Democratic Parenting and the creator of The ADHD Transformation Program.
I have advanced training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Therapy, Dietary Recommendations, Qigong/Tai Chi, and Traditional Chinese Medical Psychology.

Jennifer Etheridge L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Vermont, as well as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (D.O.M.) in New Mexico. Jennifer received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM. She is additionally certified as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Dipl. Damian McCleod is a NY state licensed acupuncturist and has a Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). Damian’s introduction to the actual practice of acupuncture came after having undergone his second reconstructive knee surgery. At the suggestion of his fellow martial artist and graduate of PCOM, he started receiving acupuncture treatments at the college’s clinic. After having first hand proof of the power of acupuncture, he dedicated himself to the pursuit of Chinese Medicine.
A major influence in his studies came from the martial arts, which he has been a practitioner of since 1993. Damian currently works with martial artist and other athletes in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, with a focus knee pain.
Part of Damian’s philosophy on medicine stems from his undergraduate education; he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. His view is, understanding the complex is a matter of having a firm grasp of the fundamentals. Whether you are creating a detailed painting or addressing a patient’s illness, seek out the underlying nature of what it is you’re observing – then you will know how to proceed.

At NESA, Kevork studied both Chinese and Japanese styles of Acupuncture, and also completed the Chinese herbal program.
