Dr. Carmen Jiménez, is a Florida-licensed Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine at Cosmopolitan Healing Center in Plantation, FL. She holds a Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAHM) from Daoist Traditions College, a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University (Los Angeles, CA), and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY). She is a nationally board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM) and is certified in Acupoint Injection Therapy.

With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Jiménez specializes in stress physiology, burnout recovery, nervous system dysregulation, chronic fatigue, hormonal imbalance, anxiety, and insomnia — particularly in high-achieving adults whose symptoms haven't fully resolved with conventional care.

Her integrative approach combines Classical Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine, bio-energetic medicine, and functional physiology to identify and treat the root patterns behind persistent symptoms — not just manage them. She is trained in advanced techniques including Bio-Energetic Medicine, Total Body Modification (TBM), Evolutionary Quantum Healing Technique (EQHT), and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET).

Prior to clinical practice, Dr. Jiménez managed and developed clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies domestically and internationally — giving her a uniquely grounded perspective on both conventional and integrative medicine.

She is bilingual in English and Spanish and offers in-person care in Plantation, FL and virtual consultations throughout Florida.

Kris Johnston, MSOM, LAc, CH is the founder and owner of Natural Approach Healthcare. She has been in practice for over seven years. She graduated from New York College of Health Professions in 2006. She has a strong belief in the mind body connection and feels that only when both are brought into balance can total health be achieved.

It all started in the New York City area in 80's when Dr. McCormick was completing undergraduate coursework in biochemistry and other pre-medical studies. During his four years as a pre-med student, he worked as an assistant and apprentice to acupuncture and naturopathic doctors, graduating from various programs in Eastern and Western styles of manual therapies including naprapathy. After completing his undergraduate degree in public health, he went on to graduate from both a masters and doctoral program at one of the country's top natural medicine colleges in Portland, Oregon. As a doctoral fellow he was an acupuncturist intern at Oregon Health Sciences University Pain Center. He was also an intern at a World Health Organization (WHO) integrative medicine hospital in Nanjing, China. Since then, he's traveled the globe learning new techniques to help others with natural options for their healthcare. Dr. McCormick has completed apprenticeships and post-graduate clinical work with naturopathic physicians, naprapaths, medical doctors, osteopaths, Oriental and Ayrvedic medicine doctors along with various other world renowned practitioners in the natural medicine field. He is motivated by a desire to provide complementary care including alternatives to surgery and drugs. Dr. McCormick's practice provides several natural therapy options that address a wide range of health and wellness concerns. His practice serves Fort Collins, Colorado, Cheyenne, Wyoming and Rapid City, South Dakota. True to Life Wellness is an Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine practice located in Freeport, Maine, founded and led by Sharon Sherman, L.Ac. Sharon is a Board Certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (NCBAHM) with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine earned with honors from Tri-State College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in New York City. She has been practicing full time since 2001, including over 24 years leading a clinic in Philadelphia, where she also served as Acupuncture Consult Staff at Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation Hospital and as a faculty member at the Won Institute.
Sharon takes a collaborative, individualized approach to care — treatment begins with the whole person, informed by their history, constitution, and personal definition of wellness. Services include acupuncture, custom-formulated Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and dietary recommendations grounded in East Asian medicine principles.
