Karen Lang, MSW, LAc is a graduate of Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine and a nationally certified acupuncturist.
As a classically trained acupuncturist Karen crafts individual treatment plans to help each patient achieve his or her own health goals. Using acupuncture and other Chinese Medicine modalities, Karen collaborates with patients to re-establish their body’s natural ability to thrive.
Karen’s background is in social work. She spent the past 20 years working in sexual assault response and prevention at local, state and national levels. Seeking a more holistic approach to facilitating health and well-being Karen was drawn to study acupuncture. Karen is also an avid runner and cyclist and has found acupuncture to be an important tool for staying healthy, recovering quickly and resolving strains, sprains and other injuries.

Lindsay Trottier, DACM L.Ac. is a board-certified acupuncturist and doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine practicing in San Diego, CA.
Dr. Trottier first entered the profession of health and wellness as a certified personal trainer and then as a receptionist in an acupuncture clinic. As a competitive student-athlete, Dr Trottier has always been interested in functional movement and healthy recovery. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she was inspired to begin her training in acupuncture and herbal medicine. In 2015, Dr. Trottier began an apprenticeship with Eileen Han to extend her knowledge of the Balance Method acupuncture made famous by Dr. Richard Tan.
Dr. Trottier has experience helping patients of all ages with sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, digestive complaints, women’s health issues, pre- and post-natal care, cancer-treatment side effects, mental-emotional health, and people with developmental and acquired disabilities.
Her training includes working with NCAA athletes at the UCSD RIMAC center, supporting patients undergoing treatment for various cancers at the UCSD Cancer Center in Encinitas and Rady's Children's Hospital, and caring for children admitted to the Helen Bernardy Center for Medically Fragile Children.
In 2019, Dr. Trottier completed her BaZi Consultant Certification through The Academy of Acupuncture, and now incorporates this understanding of chronoanalysis into her acupuncture practice and also offers virtual consultations to people around the world.

Janice combines the best of Eastern and Western medicine. She practiced pharmacy for over 30 years and has an extensive knowledge of western medicine and pharmaceutical care. She is also a Licensed Massage therapist and incorporates that knowledge into her acupuncture treatments. Janice is nationally board certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine. She studied both Japanese and Chinese acupuncture at New England School of Acupuncture.

Shannon Caperton, L.Ac was inspired to become an acupuncturist after witnessing the power of this type of medicine. It improved the health of family members struggling with health issues and who were bereft of relief using standard medical care.
She attended graduate school at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago where she earned her Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine. During her time in Chicago she was privileged to work in underserved communities at the Project Vida clinic in the Little Villages neighborhood on the city’s west side, as well as at Chicago Women's Health Center. In addition to these experiences, she worked extensively in the school’s student clinic, which prepared her for working with a diverse population and gave her the experience to treat a wide variety of disorders.
