I am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Arizona. I began studying TCM theory at The Won Institute in Philadelphia, PA before transitioning forward into the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, FL.
My primary lens to treatment is Five Element, which focuses on healing through a re-alignment with authenticity and integrity. Globally we are witnessing the environmental repercussions of nature being overtaxed. Five Element explores the idea that the nature around us is also reflected inside us. It asks with consideration where our individual constitutions are over-functioning or compromised and redirects energy to restore balance.
I am a white practitioner utilizing a wellness practice outside of my culture. I decided to pursue acupuncture professionally after experiencing the depth of its influence. My offering is one of attunement, curiosity, thoughtfulness, and presence. My intention is to support clients in experiencing greater connectivity and peace inside their bodies and lives. My treatments aim to disrupt internal discomfort and increase our capacity to manage mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

She received her Masters of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture and is nationally Board certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Lisa is also certified in Auricular Acupuncture through the Auriculotherapy Certification Institute, Inc. Lisa studied Biology and Chemistry to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and also has a Master of Business Administration from Averett University.
Prior to attending acupuncture school Lisa worked for almost 20 years in the Federal Reserve System, and during that time realized that she wanted to spend her time working in a profession that could touch more people’s lives in a way that they could really appreciate. Then through her own health challenges she discovered acupuncture and the rest is history. Lisa’s health journey has given her great insight into how people can feel when there is a health challenge and can no longer do the things they love to do. During his time at NESA, completed internships at the NESA school clinic in Watertown MA, and also completed externships at Dimock Community Health Center serving Boston’s urban neighborhoods with acupuncture care. He is Board Certified and licensed to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine in Rhode Island state by the Rhode Island health department. Kevork is also ( Foreign Medical Graduate ). He worked as an MD overseas for many years.
