The methods used at my practice are aimed toward giving the body synergism—not just treating symptoms temporarily or numbing pain with numerous medications. I strive to help the body heal itself from within, by treating the root and not just the branch of a problem. I use a wide variety of modalities that best serve the individual needs of the patient: acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, herbal formulas, Tui Na (Asian Bodywork), and Kinesiotaping. These methods can be integrated with Western approaches as well. Your treatment will be a partnership: discussed, understood, and agreed upon. While a particular procedure may be indicated for specific purposes, I believe the path to health is best navigated complemented by knowledge and awareness of a patient’s needs and goals.
I am a diplomate of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I received my Master’s degree from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, one of the most respected acupuncture schools in the United States. My coursework involved 3,000 hours of study in acupuncture, Chinese herbs and herbal formulas, as well as Western medical training, including over 900 hours of supervised clinical training.

Dr. Xiping Zhou, MDOM, CMT, L.Ac, is an expert in traditional Chinese medical acupuncture who brings to the table (literally) more than a quarter-century of experience in the Chinese healing arts as a practitioner and a teacher of acupuncture, TaiChi, QiGong.

Sandy Root, AP, L.Ac., MSTOM, a FL & NY State Licensed Acupuncturist, graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York with her Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2009.

Sandy had clinical experience practicing acupuncture at the Saint Vincent’s Hospital -HIV Clinic, the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases – Initiative for Women with Disabilities, NYU Medical Center, and Pacific College Acupuncture Clinic, and now her own practice in Miami Beach, FL. She is also certified in Constitutional Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.



Sandy loves to integrate the science, art, and wisdom of acupuncture into her practice. With her personal study of spiritual & consciousness practices, Sandy has the ability to facilitate and create a space where her patients are driven to empower themselves through the medicine. In the life-long learning this medicine allows, Sandy is excited to continually integrate new ideas into her practice, and generate a community where her patients can continue their path to self-awareness, in body and mind.

Lindsay is trained in a variety of acupuncture styles such as Traditional Chinese acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture and Dr Tan's Balance Method.

The body consists of many inter-dependent parts, if one if these is not functioning properly it can impact on the functioning of the whole body. Miranda is a Licensed Acupuncturist and is certified by the National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She graduated from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine with her Masters degree in Acupuncture in August of 2014 with over 2200 hours of educational and clinical hours in the practice of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Her practie of acupuncture has evolved with her training and experience with BodyTalk and she has developed a Priority-based acupuncture style that asks the body what it wants to work on. This method has proven to have a greater effectiveness in getting the body back to health and wellness or in maintaining health and wellness while saving you time and money.
