The Japanese variety utilizes finer needles - barely thicker than a human hair. Instead of relying on a chart, more emphasis is placed on touch and palpation to find the correct insertion points. The basis of my work is about moving energy, and releasing the energetic stagnation of negative emotions such as fear, anger, grief or stress. As a member of a family of acupuncturists and herbalists, I am proud to be a fourth-generation practitioner. My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kyung-Hee University in Korea. I have also taught yoga, qi-gong, healing, and meditation in both Korea and the USA. Following in my family's footsteps, I pursued a career in acupuncture and studied Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University in California. In addition to my passion for healing, I enjoy traveling, art, and writing, and I find great joy in meeting new people and helping them in any way I can
