Marcia Nogueira, M.S., L.Ac. has been practicing acupuncture since 2004 and has been in her Thousand Oaks location for the past 7 years. She is a graduate of Samra University of Oriental Medicine where she received her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology. She is a California board licensed acupuncturist and currently practices both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Autumn graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College with a Masters of Oriental Medicine. She is certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado and a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado. She is also a Nationally Certified Chinese Herbalist. Autumn is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine along with the Balance Method taught by Dr. Richard Tan, which is very effective in treating pain. Her training included more than 3,000 hours of education and over 1,000 hours of clinical practice.
Autumn also studied in China and received a certificate from the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine Hospital located in Harbin, China. She studied in inpatient and outpatient departments such as Pediatric, OB/GYN, Rehabilitation, Orthopedic, Dermatology, Tuina, Cardiovascular and Neurology.
Autumn chose acupuncture because she values treating the body as a whole, treating each patient as an individual and treating the root of her patient’s problems. She strongly believes in the benefit of preventative medicine and the importance of keeping her patients in balance.
Before finishing her masters, Autumn graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Human Services and worked as a social worker.

Deborah Hutchinson, PhD, LAc is an NCCAOM® certified acupuncturist practicing in downtown Lexington, KY.
She completed a 3-year Masters-level acupuncture program at the former Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Bethesda, MD), which included a year of Chinese herbal medicine training as well as study in China at a summer acupuncture course at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in 2002. She has a doctorate in Anthropology from the University at Buffalo where she studied the transnational flow of Chinese Medicine and conducted ethnographic fieldwork at the European Institute of Oriental Medicine in Munich, Germany. She completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in patient safety at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She currently is a part-time instructor for the Department of Medical Behavioral Science at the University of Kentucky, where she is a behavioral science preceptor for first-year medical students.
